The Mach 1 comes with the gt350r cups. They do not have good wet weather performance. the regular gt350 cup2’s which are a different tire are the ones that are suitable for wet surfaces.
I have only driven the car a few time while it's been dry, nearly every day it's been in the rain and a few times on the highway while it's been pouring. They've been fine but nerve-wracking.

I wouldn’t use fine and nerve-wracking in the same description when it comes to tires in the street :)
my information comes from billy Johnson who helped develop these tires for the gt350r. He suggested the base 350 sport cups for street use or ps4’s if wet roads we’re going to be encountered.

I've put more then 500 miles in the wet on them, nerve-wracking as in I understand they lack hydroplaning resistance but they still feel very grippy. My concern is I'm used to the tramlining and pulling but in the rain it would be hard to tell when your just feeling the normal characteristic of the tire or one hydroplaning. I'm getting more and more confident about them in the wet and that's a bit scary. I'll swap them but not till I've worn them flat out and then I still have a second set of them up stairs that did come off a 350 R 🙃.

I have 5k miles on my replacement ps4s, 305 front and 325 rears, it got rid of all tramlining and drives much better on the street than the cups 2s
Same here. Made all the difference in the world. I had alignment checked and found it was off from the factory too but the tires were 95% of the problem.

I just had Cooper Zeon's installed at all four corners. HP car. So far, it has eliminated the tramlining issue here on roads with ruts and wet. I'll wait until I have some significant mileage on them in differing conditions to provide a final report, but my initial impression is very positive.

I believe I’ll be swapping the Cup 2’s for a set. Are you running 325 on the rear?

Yes, they fit perfect. Picture for reference

Looks Great. Is that the OEM size up front 305/30/19? it is hard to tell from the profile of this picture but it looks like yours fills the fender gap more than my stock cup 2's. I was considering putting a 275/35/19 on to fill the gap but those 305's really handle well.

Yes, 305/30 up front and 325/30 in the rear.

We have a tyre placard stuck to the inside of the door, if its missing its easy enough to check the cars details online to confirm. Its a basic roadworthy check in Aus.

Jeez. Do they check your tyre pressures as well, while they’re at it ? 😏

Check the front end alignment. I bet you'll find it's toe-out (front of tire from each other than rear of front tire). Factory specs are a bit of toe-in up front.
Difference between non HP wheels and tires and HP wheels and tires is night and day. Doubt is alignment. Ford calls for 0 deg toe on NonHP and .1 deg toe in on HP for track and street. I ran it both ways on my 305 Cup 2's and no difference. I have an all Steeda HP setup and use 0 deg front toe. Better hold on cowboy...
