Awkward seems like a strong word for 2 slivers of plastic mildly accentuating a fender arch opening. Its not like they light up and are bolted and wired through the front grill. To each their own I guess. Different strokes for different folks I think they say.
I mean I agree. Looks pretty out of place then. Whatever word you wanna go with. They require a Mach1 bumper to flow properly. Not everything needs to be 3m taped on a car.

Ended up making a temporary “bracket” out of textured ABS plastic until I can get a set of Mach 1 wheel inner fender liners.

That’s clean. Love your wheels and your color. And your car! How hard was it to make those?

Thanks. A little bit of measuring and getting the holes to line up properly. Used cardboard templates to get to the final piece. Then transferred it over to the plastic. Used similar push pins as factory trying to make it look as OEM as possible.

Very nice! You did a good job. What did you use to punch the holes?

Thanks I cut it to contour the inner fender as best as possible. I used a drill bit with tape a 1/4” up from the tip so I wouldn’t go in too far. Pretty sure nothing is behind there but didn’t want to take a chance. Not even noticeable one the wheel and tire is on.

I bought my wheel liners from fordpartsgiant. shipping was cheap. but they may have gotten wise to that after they handled my order.

Nicely done. You only notice because you know it’s there. Otherwise no one would be the wiser once you’re on the ground. Good job man.

If you don’t mind me asking how much were the liners? I haven’t had a chance to look em up yet.

Thank you. Didn’t see em on their website. Need to find the part numbers I guess. These say Shelby/GT500…?

If any of you guys are interested in having our supplier at Ford manufacture these for the 2015-17 GT and 2018-22 GT please email me at [email protected]

Include your year and what you would realistically pay. I need to submit some real numbers to one of their design engineers.
Are you still taking interest on these? I sent an email to you but I realize this was from last year. I had a set on order for my 2016 GT PP2 but just canceled them as I seen there will be some obvious fitment issues

Yup I got them. Oem Mach 1 fender flares. Took a month to get them in from my Ford dealer. Shout out to Zach @Peoria Ford here in Az for hooking me up.
I have a 15’ with a roush kit, gt500 rockers, and gt350 rear valance. So we will see what needs to be done for fitment. Bare with me as I will have to wait a few days to install them. My car has bowed out front fenders from the previous owner bagging the car with the wheels turned to one side (bastard) Im waiting on paintless dent removal to be completed. Until then I took some pics of the flares.

I installed on my 2020 PP2. These are not designed to fit the GT. The fitment issue is at the front. There are no mounting points for r he push pins at the front bottom and as you can see in posted photo the do not reach the splitter as they are designed for the Mach 1 splitter. I will post some photos of my car when I return from Europe next week.

Same set up, only I have a pp1

ZL1 addon rock guards with mach 1 hp wheel trim. However since I do not have a mach 1 front bumper I had to slightly alter the positioning so it looks as oem as possible.

You did a really nice job on this. Did you reverse the direction of the piece by switching the passenger side and driver's side? Or did you slide it forward?

I installed a set too on a PP1 but they don't reach that far on the front edge, but are further back on the rear edge?

Regardless, you did it really well.
