For the lucky ones that have or have had a Mach 1, Which set up would be louder but not obnoxious? Im a huge fan of borla ataks, had them on my '17 GT. Worth every penny. My '17 GT didn't have active exhaust though so I couldn't test a full cat back exhaust vs just a steeda H-Pipe. Ive seen some videos of just the H-Pipe and it sounds pretty tame and not that loud with the valves fully open. Granted, it was just a video.

If you've done either, full catback or just the H-Pipe/X-Pipe, which would do you prefer? Would a $2500 exhaust be that must better than just a standard resonator delete on these cars?

Any suggestion will be subjective - head to a cars-n-coffee and hear for yourself the different options and check the countless YouTube videos for comparisons. Resonator delete on a stock system is a noticeable "improvement" with X-pipes more raspy and H-Pipes more throaty. If you already have active mufflers save The money and stick with a simple resonator delete. If you like noise, my son's GT with active valved Corsa Extreme mufflers was obnoxiously loud and with open valves, it was pretty much the same as a simpler muffler delete. My Mach 1 retains the stock mufflers but it can also become obnoxiously loud just from a resonator delete but also because of the cat deletes. Just realize there are no real power gains from all the different sounding muffler options and even headers won't give noticeable power gains over the factory tubular manifolds on a naturally asperated Coyote. (My son't car has headers and the sound is like ear splitting music at high RPM) Good luck deciding how to make your car louder with so many options available.

It's going to be a personal preference to be honest. I'm a huge fan of anything Borla on the Mustangs but with active, I think just doing a resonator delete sounds amazing. Esp the Double H pipe from Corsa. It's the go too for me with suggestions with active catbacks.

This is it here:

I did the Corsa Double H pipe. I probably prefer stock at higher RPM, but the startup with the Corsa Double H pipe is bad assed (louder, much more aggressive, lower, growl).
