Mach 1 belly pan part #

While I was under my m1 taking stuff apart so I can put on my headers, I noticed a huge hole in the front belly pan under the engine. I did a quick search online at a ford parts site and they don't have it listed in their database.

With the size of that thing you will most likely be buying if from the dealer or paying hundreds of dollars in shipping. I would check with them first.

I need to get one also. I going to try welding the cracked area first to see how that does.

I called the my friend at the dealer and I'm having him look into getting me one shipped to the dealer. Due to its size, shipping will be astronomical. I would gladly pay dealer price to save the shipping costs.

My buddy at the dealer ordered me one and it was 336 and change plus tax, but free shipping. So in the end it was cheaper than buying from an online Ford parts vendor and paying shipping on top of it.

He put in my vin to get the correct part. There are 2 different part #'s listed, mine takes the A part and the AA part is twice the price. My guess is the A is for the standard mach 1 and the AA is for the hp version.

Mine was covered by the insurance. Replaced it in no time, as obviously it is a common thing that gets smashed. A friend of mine is replacing it under insurance as well next week. These things seem to last about 2 years max before being shattered...

First trip i took out of state, i hit a ground hog in the road stopped everything looked ok. next time i changed the oil that thing was shattered so i guess im on the list too
