Hey guys, noticed today my Mach’s belly pan has a pretty big sized hole in the bottom :(
I’d like to replace it, as I’m almost positive it happened in shipping the car from Canada. I highly doubt it happened at my oil change on Monday 6/30 at the dealer as the scratches on the crossmember where the hole is have some surface rust and the car hasn’t even seen water since the oil change.
I need some help though as clearly the hardware is gone from that area completely.

The other side has a screw in it, but from what I can see the crossmember it self possibly needs a u-nut of some sort to take that screw as it’s just a hole currently. Maybe I’m wrong, hopefully someone can advise.
Here’s the good side with the screw in it:

Here’s the hardware I believe I need:

Any help appreciated, maybe @LevittownFordParts has my answer 😔
Also anything I can put onto the crossmember where the surface rust is?

Here’s the area on mine that’s damaged from the underside.

Visually those look like the correct screws, couldn't say for sure on the nut though. IIRC there are ten of them holding the pan in place. When you remove it don't forget about the plastic push pin in the center near the rear of the car.

They look correct to me. To be extra sure, head over to parts.ford.com and put in your VIN. Then you can look up part numbers for the belly pan part, bumper, or the front splitter. The image diagram should show the various bolts, screws, etc w/ part numbers under the "related" tab.

Of course the area I need hardware for doesn’t show it… 🤦‍♂️ unbelievable, this keeps happening to me, happened with the rear splash guards as well, was the one part on the diagram that didn’t show what hardware it needed lol.

I’m beginning to believe this is the nut I actually need, as the hole is square, and the screw it self is also a 4.2. The one I posted before is a m6.

Here’s what I ordered to be safe, now to order the $700 belly pan. A GT one is $100, wtf lol.

My son hit a chunk of road debris with his 2022 GT PP1 and destroyed the splitter lip and belly pan which also damaged the push-in u-nut/expansion nuts in those rectangular holes. I don't think it matters what style of expansion nut is used as long as it fits the hole. The nuts used on the GT matched the expansion nuts shown at the beginning of the posting similar to these generic styles below. You can also purchase 4mm screws with larger washers to reduce the load concentration digging into the soft plastic.

Perfect thank you, I got both so we’ll see which one works, because I know my car shares front subframe with gt350/500 and they claim to use those castle nuts.

Honestly ordered these too because they are grouped in the parts area and look a lot like what’s in the hole I need one for on a gt350 take off subframe.

-W716529-S900 Is what I am leaning towards, Although its not shown in that direct hole it is for a nearby anchoring point towards the rear of the belly pan.
