Mach 1 Airbox

Can anyone confirm if our air box is the same as the GT350? Anyone have the part number?

Hmmm...IDK. But, I seem to remember @Coastal-Mach replaced his air intake tube with one from the 350? He could clarify what all he (and possibly others) have replaced: the tube, the box or both.

I think the actual air filter box is the same. As @Skye mentioned, the intake tube is different from the gt350 to the Mach.

21/22 M1 intake tube on top, gt350 tube bottom. The gt350 tube does not have the “expansion box” in the tube. I know it had a technical name but I do not remember. I hope this helps.

Reason I ask, i am adding track spec vents to my hood and need something to cover the air box and filter. I found a GT350 compatible cover online, not sure if it fits.

I think the gt500 lid will fit with little modifications. Don’t quote me on that, some guys on here have modified the factory air box for adding a lid n

There was a thread on this. Levittown Ford Parts had a kit they put together with all the parts necessary for the conversion to closed lid.
