I’ve probably posted this to exhaustion but I’m finally gonna order the mach 1 handling package springs and camber plates to complete my 2023 mach 1 non handling package build, before I go ahead and order the parts I wanted to confirm that the part #’s are correct and indeed will be a direct fit to the non hp, I wouldn’t mind hearing from anyone who has completed the same build and could share any input,,
I heard to stay away from ford camber plates for good reason but I want to keep it as FP as I can for now,

Front Springs (x2): KR3Z-5310-D
Rear Spring (X1): JR3Z-5560-M
Rear Spring (x1): JR3Z-5560-C
Strut Mount Kit - Adjustable
Part No: KR3Z-3D008-A

Thanks in advance

I've checked my invoices and those part numbers match the ones I fitted to my car as part of my HP upgrade - we didn't have the option to buy HPs over here.

I also wanted to keep everything Ford OEM as well, so was happy to stick with the Ford camber plates. Interestingly the specialist shop that fitted it all for me said the design may better for the weather conditions we have here in the UK as some of their other customers have had issues with other brands corroding quickly. Not sure if that applies where you though...

You might as well add the HP sway bar while you're getting the work done, it's not particularly expensive... Not sure there's a huge difference but I thought it was designed to work as a package and I wanted every HP part! :)

Thank you for the reply, I do plan on adding the sway bar aswell, that part number I have confirmed I just wasn’t sure about the rest of the numbers,
Was your car a base mach 1 before you did the upgrades, do you have any pics of your before and after,

Here in the UK our specs don't 100% match US/Canada cars, I think they would all be sort of 'premium' as our only options were transmission, colour, seats and wheels.

I did mine in phases so have some photos from day of collection - right away I added a Steeda Stop the Hop full kit, strut tower brace as we don't get those, Mach 1 rear rock guards.
Then I did shocks, springs, camber plates, wheels & tyres, front wheel arch extensions.
Final round was splitter / wing etc.

Nice, very impressive, the Mach 1 base in itself is a great car visually but the hp components give it such an aggressive and intimidating appearance,
The springs and camber plates were they from Ford? Also, curious as to why you replaced the shocks,

Yes, I thought that the wheels really improved the stance but needed the more aggressive splitter / wing to balance them out.

Good catch - I did not replace the shocks, should have said sway bar, so my bad! :)
Apart from the Steeda bits, just about everything else is Ford / Ford Performance aside from a couple of very minor cosmetic things.

I did my mods to what I refer to as HP+ using Steeda parts. Looking at these pics confirms that I like the upgraded nonHP wheels better than the HP wheels. So I went with a lighter weight set of track wheels so I could do 10” square set up. I love the way the front splitter and rear spoiler looks, and the stiffer suspension is nice. Love the orange color, don’t see many of them.

Would these be the adjustable strut top mounts/ camber plates you installed?

Yes - I've got the first type (KR3Z-3D008-A) , which I got in 2022 but I'm now concerned I've got the 'wrong' type and the M-18183-MDH might be better, I was looking at this today as the other thread got me worried!

I've just asked Levittown Ford Parts - who I've used for a lot of the HP bits we can't get in the UK - which would be the 'better' set. Can let you know what they say if that's helpful!

Will do!

I am pretty sure mine are adjustable - the shop that fitted them would have known for sure and would have told me if they weren’t.

Looking at the other thread I just couldn’t see the pin lthat @WD Pro helpfully highlighted in his photo, and the design of the M-18183-MDH plate looks a lot different to the ones I have, or at least what I remember…
Probably worrying about nothing but want to make sure I do it right and have the exact parts a proper HP car would have…
Worst case I’ll just buy some new ones and get them on the car :)

Well that part number clearly says that they are adjustable strut top mounts so I’m sure you’re OK,
the set that you have on are original Ford strut top mounts from I believe 2015 to 2020 S550 models, they there after I think in 2021 changed the style and look as you can see in the second picture I sent you, they serve the same purpose, that pin that sticks out it is just an added feature that locks it into the strut tower, the original did not have that,
Don’t quote me on this I just like to do a lot of reading and research

If you look at the Steeda camber plates for the S550 mustang, you’ll notice that there’s no pin on these and these are clearly adjustable camber plates

Just for reference, here is the post I made mentioned above :

I know you have already had the confirmation you were looking for, but for future reference, or for others reading this :

The easiest way to identify the factory Ford camber plates, is by the pin that protrudes through the strut tower hole (that hole is normally vacant) :

I will also attach this photo, shamelessly stolen from @Tomster ‘s post based on his 2020 500 CFTP :

So I don’t know if Ford used any other type of camber plates direct from Flat Rock, but both the 2020 500 CFTP and 2023 M1 HP I have seen have had that pin :like:
