The ford rotor is still vented wrong. Baer and perhaps Steeda have the hat done right.

Probably should piece my own thing together at that point

Not to mention rock auto etc can provide you with the red or orange calipers. It's worth 15hp easy.
My fronts are black...and I care not for looks.
Piecemeal racecar.
If it turns out the only difference is vented rotors, that means the vented rotors would work on my current rear calipers right?

Vented rotor is 2x as thick. I don't think the bridge bracket is long enough to give clearance. The caliper itself is the same across all trims I think.

One of these three I believe...they are shared between the models, leading me to assume the calipers are all the same. If that is true, what is the difference between these three rotors? I can just get rotors and pads to upgrade if this is all true.

2 of those are vented. The third looks solid but the pic may be misleading.

The rotor part number I have in my notes is GR3Z-2C026-C. When I replaced all of my brakes I noted the part numbers.

The first one that you linked:
https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=8700404&cc=3340758&pt=1896

I thought the difference was solid rotor vs vented. Pretty sure diameter is same. The gt bracket might be a little different to give more overhang to straddle the rotor?
Good info, I thought the caliper and pads were different, interesting that it's just the rotor.

@shogun32 their response:

sorry can’t help you, nothing is different on any mustang 4cyl to v8 in the rear

i assume then i can just slap vented rotors and pads in? Or they have no idea what they are saying.

I don't have ready access to an EB to photo in detail. It doesn't park next to me till Tues.

If there really is no difference I want to bash in the head of the accountant who signed off on the solid rotor solution.

I would buy those purely because they're black already and we know they will fit lol.

Using a 2016 as an example on Levittown's site, the exact same parts are listed for rear brakes for a GT Premium and a V6.

At a minimum, for the rotors, this is wrong.

The V6 has GR3Z-2C026-E unvented rotors as @shogun32 is indicating. My rotors are vented. Part number GR3Z-2C026-C shown in the picture attached.
