i have around 700hp and 600tq stock oil pump gear, my engine don't make a sound( knock on wood), i still have stock exhaust and cats.and yes the oil pump gears are way blown out of proportion, now put 1000+hp then lets talk OPG at that point what the sense ? replace everything that makes your car vulnerable , i think yote here just feels that 15-17 is superior because he owns one, but i own 3 and i love them all , but the 2018 is my favorite and fastest, and refined as heck. its a car man . this car is no joke. dodge demon $100,000++++ door to door with my coyote. and its only getting faster......hhahahahah cheers....

Geezz man take a chill pill don’t get all bent out of shape I guess everyone has there opinion but I have 3 of them and I like my 18 the most , oil pump gears I have had my 2017 with 16lbs of boost for 2 years and everyday I drive it like I stole it , knock on wood never a issue , as far as cheap insurance go’s it cost about 1500 for the swap of OPG that’s reasonable but take in consideration that if you
Change it warranty is dead ! If the stock one breaks it’s covered ( and yes edelbrock gives warranty)
