I think they are saying it’ll make too much boost/ power (which will cause knock) on 91-93 octane. The 18-19s are making less on pump gas then the previous because they detonate easily with such high compression.

Lund jr and Alex have mentioned that they don’t want to tune high hp boosted cars on pump anymore, as it’s not worth the risk.

If you are going to run e85 you’ll need a return fuel system. Injectors upgrade alone won’t be enough
I know Palm beach will tune a dw400 with a 22v jms bap and id1050'x on E85 up until about 850whp. This setup seems to work quite well

Does the 18 have 2 sets of injectors or just the one set like 15-17? If only one set, you have 47s then, and the BAP? If that’s right, then Lund tuned you for 93 with that set up, correct?

No way 47lb injectors will make it. Lund told me the 52lb i had on my procharged gt at 10 psi were maxed out at 6k rpm with bap. I went with dw95 and make about 660whp at 10psi

You people need to realize the DI and Port injection is a giant advantage over the gen2 15-17 cars

The port injectors are just added headroom. Id bet the DI system is doing most of the work.

Man I got a update for my forum buddy’s , and the big tip of the hat to lund, my car put down 6.6 at 106 at the 1/8 mile tonight and man did I break a lot of hearts ♥ tonight my big race was a d1x procharged 2012 srt charger on a full drag pack with a built tranny and a big gear on Nos , ( he did not run n20 this race ) he is sapposed to be the fastest street car in my area , and man I embarrassed his ass I gapped him 8 cars or more , for the win #respect for Jon Lund and his crew , and I am just getting started , Hahahah. Video is coming

Update !!!!
Lund has done it again boys and girls , first let me say the customer support is freakin amazing they went above and beyond ! Jon jr him self did not stop until 6:30 this evening till the tune was right data log after data log , we now have a crazy fast 2018 mustang , the tune it self is Awsome and runs safe and trans shifts perfect , it’s like they sat me down and interviewed me on how I wanted my car to react and then executed it perfect. I can’t say enough.

What is the exact setup you’re running?
103mm TB?
Pulley size?
LT’s?

Stage 1 edelbrock 2650. No headers stock exhaust 3.25 pulley Lund tune and slicks and skinnie , stock TB, stock everything really 47ul FRPP injectors ( 47 lbs small lol) and a BAP( I think my BAP do t work tho lol. Hoosier tire stock gear 3.15
