I just talked to 5 Star. $450 gets you the SCT tuner, a 91,93, and E85 tune.
Not bad at all, Now I just need to find more reviews. Not that I don't trust you Dan... LOL
I'd bet money you couldn't tell what tune is in your car if I flashed a Lund tune then a 5 star, or a VMP or ect......

N/A they all come up with the same parameters. 5 Star has a dyno and uses it. As far as the trans, 5 star has been making the auto live while towing.

I have no affiliation with them, just don't like people being taken advantage of. Lund lives off the old mans reputation.

Bumpā€¦Thatā€™s odd because I bought the E85 tune with RTD from Lund for my 21 GT and was told they do not do the flex E85 anymore. Spent about $1,100. This was November of 2021. Has something changed? This was told to me by my tuner at Lund.
thatā€™s odd, I bought my E85 flex and E85R tunes from Lund November 30th and everything has been fine

That's weird because their website shows that a flextune will be provided

5 star has been making the auto live while towing.
Your symptoms: Truck intakes on Mustangs, mustang cams in trucks, now towing ?
My diagnosis: I think your in a gender identity crisis.

If you already have the HPTuners MPVI2+ for another vehicle, do you have to buy another dongle to tune your mustang or can you use the same one for tuning both vehicles?

*Use the MPVI2+ on my mustang that I bought to tune my Silverado*

Otherwise I will need to order the Lund tune and the RTD dongle.

You can use the MPVI2 on as many cars as you want. Just need to license every car once.

Not true. You donā€™t have to license EVERY car once. You can purchase a set amount of credits and tune unlimited amount of cars within a certain year range.

For some cars sure, not for s550's or most mustangs for that part unless you are tuning 3.7's. For the ones that can it ranges from around 12-30 credits to unlock for that MODEL and Year

What are you talking about?

2 gen mustangs are 2 credits, 3rd are 4. No more needed.

It's two or four credits per VIN. I believe he was talking about a licence per car model and year (i.e. so you can tune any number of 3rd generation Mustangs, not just yours).

I was referring to the post I responded too, which, was talking about unlimited tunes to a car. Maybe you aren't aware with some models you can purchase a set number of credits and once you hit that its "unlocked", just not applicable to most including s550's

Agreed, you just left out that s550's do not fall into that category as its not an option for them.
Hptuners donā€™t offer that option for any new platform they cover. Itā€™s widely known.
