What I am not quite understanding is folks getting multiple revisions on the original tune and I have onoy ever been told by steve at Lund my original tune was a good as it was going to get... even after data logging.
Does it mean that he could not find anything to improve on the datalog?

Very curious to see stock airbox versus aftermarket with these tunes, I have several friends that are engineers at many of the major auto manufactures and I keep hearing they generally laugh at aftermarket intakes the past 5-10 years as they do FEA with the same computing power the movie industry uses but for them it is used to optimize product design aka air flow. A few even stated how many aftermarket intakes in the new performance cars can cause HP loss and that now a lot of people buy them for the sound. Looking to hear well founded thoughts based on real world accredited empirical data. Thanks!

Alright my only question with this tuner is, would I eventually later down the road be able to take it to my local shop and have them dyno tune with it, or can only lund tune with this thing?

But wouldn't a custom dyno tune at your elevation and humidity etc yield better results? Especially if the person were to add forced induction?

We're not re-inventing the wheel with these cars. They're no different than any other previous mustang. A cold air intake and tune will always yield more HP & TQ than a tune by itself.

Suction cup mount to the windshield by the a-pillar. I'll grab a pic after work.

for forced induction, we remote tune and datalog with you.

you have to remember, ford isn't sending you different tunes because you live at higher elevation

also don't forget it's a closed loop wideband feedback system.

So what signals are you guys displaying (either for the 4 or 6 squares)
I also wouldn't mind knowing what everyone else is displaying. For my 4 cell readout, I look at the air to fuel ratio, inlet air temp, knock retard timing (knockr signal I think?), and engine RPM as filler, which sometimes I switch out for vehicle speed.

What else should we be keeping an eye on to make sure everything's A-OK?

Alright was just wondering, really contemplating this route after I solve my wheel hop at factory hp ratings first lol

Great... I downloaded the firmware 137 and dragged the files over to the SD card on my mac now you guys got me paranoid. I plugged the ngauge into my extra PC I use for my helms to power up the unit and updated the firmware from there. It acted like everything was fine. What were the issues on the Macs? Also.... there was no file to unzip. I saw earlier a mention of unzipping a file.
