I just read about this and have a couple of questions.
Will Lund give me a code to unlock the gauge?
When unlocked am I able to get other tunes and load them via the Ngauge? Just last week I installed a Roush Phase 2 on my 2017 gt/PP and am currently running the Roush tune for emissions but who knows down the road? Thanks in advance for your help. P. S. Love the Supercharger.

The NGauge was made by E-Motion. Lund is just a tuner.

I think that question is best to ask Lund directly

From what I've read, they are able to unlock the ngauge so anyone with HPTuners can put a tune on it, for a fee.

Hopefully that is the case as I may be in this position in the future.

Tyler from Lund told me that I can still get tunes from them and load them using my Ngauge. So, according to that statement they still support the Ngauge for those who still have one. I'm hoping this is true. He also said, referencing unlock, that they had a limited number of unlocks available. I have no clue what that means.

It may mean for a price, they can unlock it for you to load their tunes.

I have no clue. I just installed a Roush Phase 2 supercharger and am running the Roush tune for emissions so the gauge is a non issue. I guess I can sell it but then can someone else use it?

I imagine they are a hard sell right now.

You forgot to mention that many of them are not happy when they find out it is a paperweight for them. :)

Oh, I never heard that before. I knew they would get it unlocked. I wanna find out more on the new HP Tuners MPVI2+ device.

the ngauge will work just fine however because the company that makes them went under there wont be any new updates to the software for them and once they die you are kinda sol. i have an ngauge and starting to deal with screen issues in terms of the touch screen. screen works just fine but the sensitivity is lacking like ill push a button and a different button will register.

as for unlocks i believe lund locks their ngauges so that you can only load their tunes thru it. unlocking it (i believe, but could be wrong) allows you to load another company tune to the device. if you were to sell it to someone you would want to unmarry it from your car so it can be married to the buyers car.
