I have a 19 GT A10 with catless kooks headers, mbrp catback, jlt 120mm intake and e85. i’m making 463whp, which was done in june in south florida. my tuner said i can get lu47 injectors and port my gen 3 manifold to pick up a little more power and make maybe 480whp. is this true or a waste of $500?

Injectors don't add horsepower.
would a ported boss 302 manifold and increased timing require larger injectors, and could that provide more power? or are the larger injectors completely redundant?

That's going to add like 2hp

You don't need bigger injectors

Guys would run stock injectors on low boost supercharger kits and make 600

Are you making 600?

When you increase air, you need to increase fuel. The stock coyotes flow air very well compared to most engines. So, porting a manifold is like pissing in the ocean.

If this was an LS1 from 2000 then yeah, changing the injectors would probably be a good idea, considering they flow like shit in stock form. So, changing the intake manifold or porting one, or heads, would increase the flow of air quite a bit. More air; more fuel.
This is not the case for modern day coyotes.

Remember gen 3 has DI as well... Sounds like someone's trying to make a buck.

I changed stock PP1 to GT350 manifold, 47lbs injectors, 91mm TB, and Steeds CAI with a Wengerd 93 tune. I have not gotten it on a dyno but she flies now. Lays a foot of rubber in second gear.So I am easily over 500 hp. I also have an E85 tune which I haven't used yet, needing to find a pump. I am going to get a nitrous set up next.

The injectors won't add HP at all but allow for E85 but on Gen 3s it's fine with the stock 16. A ported manifold can help too if you looking for an extra gains as you can.

I would go with the 1320 Junkie one. This here:

I’ve heard that porting is hardly worth it na but worth it once going FI. I do plan on doing that some day but you’re saying the larger fuel injectors would be completely useless? is there physically no way for them to provide any gain on an FBO NA 2019 GT on e85?

On NA it helps some for sure but yes, on boosted applications it will see more results.

You also have a Gen 2 which does not come with DI so it's a different story.

OP you don't need to upgrade injectors in your situation. The OEM units in combination with DI are more than enough to supply the needed fuel for the other mods. You might get 3-5hp from the ported manifold, but don't expect anywhere near 480 with just that change.

why do think you have 500rwhp ? There's no way. Real SAE measured rwhp Gen3 with cams (through A10) are around the 500 mark.

you're not starved for fuel on a stock normally aspirated gen3 motor. You wont be even if you upgrade the manifold. The manifold can be upgraded and is worth a small horsepower increase, but it will be very small and only at 7k RPM. The $/horsepower is awful on that upgrade on a gen 3.

I'd be very cautious about anything else this tuner instructs you to do, this injector suggestion is nothing short of wasted money.
