For a NA car, is getting LT’s even worth it? Or would the high flow MAK cats be sufficient for decent HP gain?

Yes I would say it is worth it for the headers alone. They are proven to make decent power for the buck even on NA setups. If you have any questions about the different brands, feel free to shoot me a message anytime. lethalperformance.com

At the price point of some of the headers we carry in stock you're getting more bang for your buck, even n/a. Then if you ever add boost a LT is going to flow better than the OEM header and high flow cat setup. Hit me up and we can get you dialed in on a set for sure; have a few options in stock ready to go.

Feel Free to DM me or call with any questions.

IMO its not even close to worth it when NA
So would you suggest the high flow MAK cats? I was thinking this too since the cost is generally less the LT's and install would be easier/more affordable.

There is a gain with LT's. It is not as good as back when we had log manifolds. The peak number might not look great but avg power will be worth the hassle.

To be frank it depends on where you live if they are worth it or not. In Cali with the way smogging is going I would say no. You live in Texas and if you can get them installed for a decent price or do it yourself I would do it. Question is what are you going to do for software? A lot of tuners won't shut remove the code for inefficient catalyst, something to think about.

Im in Texas. Why would I need to shut the cod off for high flow cats?

Headers will get you max 10hp over cat deletes, not worth the price or headache of install unless you go boosted and even then I still wouldn't.

Don't take advice from people trying to sell you something either lol.

You'll fail inspection in Texas for having no cats. Your car will throw cat efficiency codes unless your tuner turns them off which will then make you fail for system not ready. You'll have to add the cats back and then run a tune with your O2's turned on to pass or run non foulers.

I ran the mak cat deletes with non foulers and passed on my 15 FWIW.

that’s why I wanted to go with high flow cats instead of an actual delete.

I didn’t think that would throw a light but I couldn’t remember.

Pretty much all the aftermarket cats will still throw an efficiency code except for the kooks green cats if I remember correctly so there's that also.

Aftermarket cats are generally crap compared to OEM

nope. Not worth it. You'll get maybe a 7 ish hp increase with high flow cats. Longtubes yield bigger gains and it's worth the money in the long run
