Correct. David @Steeda posted this very information last week or the week before when the springs were released. I love these and glad I went with them. Brake dive is vastly improved. I stood on the brakes from 75mph and was surprised at how much the brake dive was reduced and how straight it all tracked. I had a bit smile on my face as the car came to a halt.
It looks as if though the people have spoken ... Steeda is the way to go!!

Let myself or David know if we can help place your order for the springs ... depending on which ones you go with.

We are still in development of our shocks & struts ... which will no doubt be a great combination with our springs.

We will keep you updated as to the development of the shocks & struts.

Todd, thank you for the feedback & we appreciate the support.

Best Regards,

Brad, what you're saying makes sense and is the path I was heading. The problem is, there isn't anyone making matched sets of springs and shocks for the Mustang for as long as I can remember. There isn't even any shocks available for the 15 that I know of. The Steeda springs are designed to work with the stock shocks.

I agree having them matched is best and I can't imagine better than coil overs for being matched. They would also need to be specific to that platform I imagine, at least the weight. As far as I know that doesn't exist yet right? What are you considering for your car?

One thing no one has said.

Get a matched set of springs and shocks, not just one, then the other.

Second a no shit, good set of non-racing, non-stance coilovers will be your best bet.

I've had so many suspension setups on my BMW's that it hurts to look back at the bills, and my best setup was an upgraded front bar, KW V1 coilovers, and multiple (soft) bushing upgrades. The S550 has the same styles of front and rear suspension, so take note.

If I go to the track once a year do you think it's worth getting the linear?

I took my car to the track last weekend and it has the Steeda progressive springs, I had a great time. I also have no kidney jarring issues like I had with the Eibachs before. I think you will be happier with the progressives if you only plan on a once a year visit to the track.

My car will be getting either the cortex racing coilovers (single adjustable (or dual if $$) or I will PAINFULLY wait for KW, while badgering fortune auto (local) to make 2015 coilovers.

Biggest problem with the aftermarket is that the premium stangs have 3 mode electronically adjustable suspension which drives up costs, both development for 2 different platforms, complexity for the adjustibility, and the tuning time/costs to get it right in every mode. Thankfully I don't have that issue/extra weight, but still have to wait for options.

My pleasure! You all have been great to work with during the choosing of said suspension components, installation at your Valdosta facility and the design/manufacturing of great products:cheers:

This is great to hear! Any other feedback from the car from your track day? Do you have any other Steeda parts installed beside the springs?

Directly from Steeda. You can PM David@steeda or TJ@steeda on the forum here to get pricing.

I'm interested to hear what the dealer has to say. I haven't taken mine on any long trips, but the other day I was going down the interstate in the family minivan and came up on a '15 EB. For us the pavement was smooth (70-75mph), but looking at the EB driver bouncing in his seat I don't think he had the same opinion. Looking at his EB it looked like the suspension was rocking continually front to back, front to back.
I will let you all know.

I generally prefer linear springs for their predictable characteristics but are the progressive springs really that good?

For a car that will see track time a couple times a year and you still want great ride quality but the handling needs when you want to push it, yes.

Here is a reply from David@Steeda on their progressive springs.

http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showpost.php?p=573898&postcount=149

Happy to provide additional background info.

Steeda’s progressive lowering springs for the S550 use a dual-rate spring with two linear rates connected by a rate transition range. What does this mean to our customers? In short, it means the springs are more predictable and easier to tune.

Our progressive springs were designed and tuned for a setup consisting of one to two people at 200 lbs each with a full tank of gas in the car. From our experience, a linear spring doesn’t provide as much roll control as a progressive spring. Think of our progressives as a high-tech dual-rate spring.

Spring rates - our progressive springs are 10% stiffer than the PP springs at curb and provide a 40% increase in roll stiffness over the PP springs when you lean into it and the spring compresses.

Basically "Car is driving as designed"...I am assuming, enough of us with PP will need to keep going to the dealers and annoy Ford to do a TSB, or offer a fix...

Is it really possible to lower the car AND retain good ride quality? I've lowered my last 3 cars and regretted every one of them. The first time, I just didn't know. The next time I heard everyone say, "get the Eibach springs and they will be fine with the factory shocks". That certainly wasn't the case. Then I was told get the Tokico D-Spec adjustable shocks, that will take care of it. While it was better, it was still very rough. The last attempt on my 2010 was Koni shocks and Ford Racing Springs. That was probably the best of any combo I tried but still difficult to talk going over a bumpy road.

I've heard coilovers. Any experience with them, recommendations? I know they cost quite a bit more. I don't want to get them just to pay that much more and find out they still are very bumpy. I'd rather not do airbags because I don't want to have that system to fool with.

I have the 2015 EB Premium with PP. I noticed a little difference test driving the PP and non but that was definitely not an issue. Just the car is still sitting too high.

If it isn't possible, I'll just give up but my car is saying, "PLEEEEEASE!"

Thanks,
Joe
I just lowered my mustang on BC Coil-overs and the ride quality is great. I would say better than stock because you do not have so much body roll. I've been working with BC and we just finished dialing everything in this week. I am very happy with the results. With the BC coil overs you can adjust the Damp, so you can make it stiffer or softer. Adjust it to your liking. Before the Coils I had Eibach Sport lines and no complains here, the ride quality was good as well. Here are a few pictures of the car lowered on BC coil-overs.

Added 170lbs of weight to the trunk and the bounce went away...Some VERY smart guys on another thread pointed me in this direction. Now a permanent fix.

What do you see as the permanent fix?
