Awww Yeaahhh! FedEx just dropped off some goodies. Time to go play with the air tools! Thanks David@Steeda for getting these out so quick! Looks like the rest of the parts will be shipping some time in the next week. That way I get to spread the fun out a little.

Here's some pictures on the Stock 19's with the sportlines.

How is ride quality on sportlines? I'm in such a tossup in what to go with.... I want the lower drop of the sportlines but I hear negative things about them so than I consider switching to steedas linear ultralites or the progressive ones that both drop 1.125 and 1 inch in back

Thanks Todd! I spent quite a while working on it yesterday, interrupted by lunch, trimming the bushes, dinner and a family party in the evening. The only thing I have left to install is the vertical links so it's still jacked up. I'm really glad the Differential bushings, bushing supports and subframe alignment kit came at the same time. Doing them all together eliminated a lot of repeat work. I'm really looking forward to getting the vertical links on and test driving (flogging).

That is awesome! Wish I had the patience to attempt my own suspension parts install but I don't.

Are you attempting to get the vertical links installed today?

LOL don't you know it! I always forget how fun it is working on suspension until I get started. All in all it really wasn't bad. Not nearly as easy as the video but not bad. I just finished the vertical links, going out shortly to test it all out. :headbang:

Bye bye birdie!

No more chirp chirp chirp!

Went for a nice ride to check it out. I did a burnout and a hard take-off and it was very solid, no hopping. The most important thing was cornering for me. I went into a large parking lot, took a hard turn accelerating out of the exit purposefully braking the backend loose. Before, with the wheel hop, it was hard to control. It took a lot of working the wheel. Now it is easy!

Thanks again David@Steeda for the recommendation!

You can see the Steeda urethane differential mount bushings in the first pic and the Steeda billet vertical link (left) and the Steeda sub frame bushing supports (right) in the second picture. You obviously can't see the Steeda sub frame alignment kit but I'm really glad I got those. I'm sure I would have had to get it aligned afterwards with everything moving around. I'll still get it aligned once I get the lowering springs in.

While I had my 06 GT out of the garage to work on this one, I decided to take a pic of them together.

I have no complains with my sport lines. The ride quality was great and it gave it a nice drop. Steeda makes some great quality products as well. So you can't go wrong with either company you decide to go with

Cars look GREAT...are you planning on doing stripes on the 2015? If so what color combo?
Thanks! Haven't decided on stripes yet. This is my DD and it gets a lot of highway miles. I'm currently focused on handling and performance and will consider appearance as time progresses and we get to see more options. I thought if I do stripes maybe flat black with a silver pinstripe edge but I'd have to see it first. My imagination is terrible and my photoshop skills worse.

Waiting for the Steeda sawybars with billet mounts, springs and g-track brace. Next probably a tune we have a lot of great options and support here on Mustang6G. You know how it goes though, never done.

Subscribed as you have the same concerns I have with hearing that lowering springs 'improve' the ride. Sure it improves handling but odd if it makes the car smoother over rough surfaces, although I sure hope that's the case. Really looking forward to hearing your feedback on the progressive springs when you get them.
Also, does anyone know if the standard Ford PP springs are progressive or linear?

I actually created another thread, http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24904

I listed my impression there but I was shocked! It really did improve the ride quality. I honestly didn't think it was possible to lower a car and get better ride quality out of it.
