Is the "swing" the one with gurney flap rather than the flat Mach 1 spoiler? I have the flat one on my mach (all they offered in the UK) but also like the more in your face version and also wondered if they used the same holes (flat vs "swing")I can’t speak for the MP Concepts spoiler, but an OEM PP spoiler would use the same holes as the OEM blade spoiler. The Mach 1/GT350/GT500 “Swing” also uses OEM holes
Can confirm they do - when mine was fitted it was a straight swap.Is the "swing" the one with gurney flap rather than the flat Mach 1 spoiler? Correct, it has the gurney flap and they do use the same holes. Only difference is the Ford Performance version is gloss black vs the HP spoiler that was painted Magnetic Metallic. Is the "swing" the one with gurney flap rather than the flat Mach 1 spoiler? I just took a look at this MP Concepts PP style spoiler on the site you pictured. I'm also interested in eventually picking up a spoiler. I watched the installation video and they specifically state that you will have to fill and paint the factory holes and drill new holes per their template. So although this spoiler is quite a savings over the Ford OEM spoiler, you have the hassle and risk of drilling and filling a perfectly good trunk lid. Personally, I'd pay more for the correct holes alignment.I want to get something like this but they say it doesn’t cover the holes left by the factory spoiler so what are you supposed to do about that? How are other people getting nice spoilers on their cars?
