I am looking to see if any owners want to sell their radio delete panel... perhaps you upgraded your interior and you have this sitting around, I am a buyer. If you have one sitting in your shop/dealership... I am a buyer.
thanks
Schu

This came up a while ago and nothing ever came of it. IIRC, you couldn't buy it or it was cost prohibitive.

Nobody in thier right mind would let this part go. It is the signature of the base R and I don't think there is anyone out there wishing they didn't have that (perceived) simple delete panel.

Looks like the kind of thing that could be pretty easily produced by a decent 3D printer. The rounded beveled edge looks to be a different texture and would probably require a lite sanding and polishing to achieve the same look.

That's a great idea, however the rest of the bezel is all the same part (blower controls, engine start/stop, LC, etc) are all integrated into that delete bezel.

I do know that the R cover panel will just pop off from the larger dash panel. Use a plastic flat blade screwdriver and get under the edge. IIRC, there are 4 tabs holding it onto the large dash panel. My car is in storage or I would pull it off to see if there is a molded-in Ford part number. I imagine there is, Whether Ford will sell it is another question

I thought the OP was just asking about the cover, not the entire panel. I want to cut a hole in the R cover to add an nGAGE so I have some gages on my base R. Don't want to cut up the original. I juts need the R cover, not all the other bits. Has anyone identified that Ford PN (for just the R cover panel)? Thx.

EDIT: Does anyone have close up shots of the back of the R cover? Does it show a PN?

That entire panel IS the delete piece... it's the only way it comes.
The engineering number on the panel would not be a part number.
The cover WILL NOT fit a standard circuit board... see the reference pictures above. Believe me, I know of what I speak.

My perception is that you have not offered up enough money. Me thinks you'd be into the thousands before anyone even considers selling off such an integral piece of a very rare car.

Good luck.

From the looks of it, just pop off the volume and tuning knobs off of a non-Sync3 bezel and then pop on a delete cover. If only they sold it separately. Looks like an opportunity for someone with some time and a decent 3D printer.
