Haven’t found any videos with this combination, and I’m curious to see if anyone has a video to see what it sounds like.

I have 2/3, a muffler delete and the stock resonator, I imagine with long tubes it would be harsher and MUCH louder. Like, rape the neighborhood loud. With factory headers I'm already pretty loud.

Not what you're asking for, but something to go off.

Thanks! It’s hard to choose a exhaust that sounds good and isn’t too loud. I’m 30 but can’t stand the corsa extreme exhaust wit longtubes like a lot of people have.

Are you just looking for an axle back to go with your long tubes? If so, I'd recommend the (ironically named) LTH Scorpion axle back. Kinda pricey but good sound and drone free. Any muffler delete or single chamber option will likely just be way too loud and annoying.

I think with a muffler delete and LTs, you’re going to be super loud, maybe even close to the sound of open headers. Have you considered LTs , resonator delete and stock mufflers? If you have AE, that’s a bonus, as you can go from quiet to loud if you ever decided to. That’s what I did on my Bullit and it gives me some flexibility.

I may just do that then to be honest. No I don’t have AE unfortunately. I got my car last year when Ford was doing their 0/84 and they gave me the incentives as well even though they weren’t supposed to, so my selection was limited, lol.

The car is eventually going to go to my dad so I’m thinking maybe borla s type axle back with catted longtubes and stock resonator.

I don't know how much of a difference aftermarket cats are in terms of sound reduction, but with the stock cats and a Borla S-Type catback along with their resonator, it was a bit tame. I do know that without cats, my setup is borderline loud at cold starts and WOT.

... before long tubes, I had an h pipe with solo performance axel back and it was perfect. Then when I added the long tubes it was just way too loud and raspy so I switched the h pipe for a Magnaflow tru x resonator and although I think the tone is absolutely perfect, I do wish it was about 30% louder.

That setup will be loud, you could try the headers with the stock catback or we could do a set of headers with an aftermarket catback like the Borla S-Type. The catbacks like the Borla ATAK and Corsa Xtreme are going to be loud with rasp on a catless setup.

Exhaust comes down to what you like the sound of most but we can get them all.

Hit me up and we can get you dialed in for sure!
