If you have an SCT, on their website they have free downloads for their logging program. You can log on the handheld alone, then connect to a home PC and open the file in the handheld via the logging software.

You don't need an additional device to get a log. nGauge is a competitor device, they do the same thing essentially but in different ways.

So just connect to the LiveLink and log with the Laptop while connected? What parameter is FRP? Is it just a PID I need to add? If so I wonder why it was not in the requested log data from Lund in the first place. I can easily add it if it is that simple.

Need to add it, however, not sure but pretty certain its a "calculated" parameter, the car doesn't have an actual pressure sensor. The tune itself pre-defines the fuel pressure based on how much fuel you are commanding (and other stuff like temp, etc).

This is what I'm talking about. Sorry if my description was poor.

"You'd need to buy a 0-5V Fuel pressure sensor and a Firewire cable for an SCT device and wire it up so that the Analog params will work. You would also need the voltage conversion formula. Zeitronix makes some FRP sensors and provides the voltage formula so it can be made to work. I think lethal sells the firewire cable. "

Ah ok sorry misunderstood.

Once you hookup the fire wire, then do a look in the handheld or on the laptop for all available PIDs, you should see a voltage in popping up, you can then select to log it and set the conversion in the logging software. The voltage to psi conversion calculation should be provided by the company who made the sensor.

Yea me too,my buddy Ken did the same thing so we could log boost with the sct.The firewall cable and a frp sensor is all u need.U will want to use a 5volt reference, then get the formula to convert voltage into psi..Once u get it set on the sct it will log fp eveytime u log.
