Considering a Whipple, what do I need to know?

Definitely get the stage 2. Whipple brick is fantastic. Instead of running crappy additives like Boostane, I would opt for something like a water/meth injection if E85 is not available. My 2022 F150 knocked a lot on pump 91 on the Whipple calibration and 3.875" pulley (which is even bigger than the pulley that typically comes for Mustangs) from 7-11 but that is a 12:1 C.R. engine.

Like leaded race fuel, it's hard on O2s and spark plugs. It's also hard to read the plugs which is important when tuning. If I had no access to E, definitely would do meth injection with boost. It's a reliable and proven method that has been available for decades.

My O2s made it over 100k miles with 14oz of boostane a tank. Yes they look orange but eirked just like new until the day I swapped them. Spark plugs ill give you. I only got about 10k out of them boosted until I added meth. I love running meth too but it can fail. The boostane is always in there unless you forget to add it.
