No, both are on 87. CJPP confirmed in the comments. Dealer filled the S650 with 87 so they put 87 in the S550 to compare apples to applesDid they run the Gen 3 on 87 and the Gen 4 on 93?
Do you really think that the Gen 4 motor is starved for air coming into the intake manifold that a set of aftermarket intakes will make a discernable difference? Can’t wait to see how this gen4 motor fully shines with intake
not just cold air, I’m sure people will slap a CJ on it etc.. point is we haven’t seen what this engine is truly capable of with the redesign.Do you really think that the Gen 4 motor is starved for air coming into the intake manifold that a set of aftermarket intakes will make a discernable difference?
"Redesign" is a strong word...not just cold air, I’m sure people will slap a CJ on it etc.. point is we haven’t seen what this engine is truly capable of with the redesign.

So….. In that case, new block, heads, cams, intake, T/B’s, etc etcIt’s a whole new block, pretty sure new heads too.
Even worse when you think about the Mach 1 and Bullit which already made 480 with a Gen 3 coyote and GT 350 intake manifold.So….. In that case, new block, heads, cams, intake, T/B’s, etc etc
HP gain….20.
Brilliant….. LOL.
I’ll take the Gen2/3 behind door #2.![]()
Are the bottom end and/or valvetrain any stronger than a Gen 2 or 3?Lol you guys are TRYING not to see the point.
Give some time to see what it really puts out after FBO/E85, boost etc…
I fully expect boosted DH motors to make 1100 plus reliably.
Nope. Zero reason to be realistically. Are the bottom end and/or valvetrain any stronger than a Gen 2 or 3?
