Hotter months typically show lower actual readings, but have higher correction numbers. Colder months show higher actual readings and lower corrected numbers. Just depends on if your using SAE or STD factors. Local to me in high elevation summer months, the dyno's in our area will show sometimes 22-24% correction.
I had Chris Groves at the Dyno Edge tune my mustang this past summer. He knows his stuff!

Hell yeah, he is top notch! Have known Chris for about 20 years. Definitely a great tuner and very honest business owner in the performance automotive industry.

448 hp 405tq. Colder air and a couple of tweaks to the tune. .made 7 pulls. Very consistent. 443 was my lowest and that was my first pull

we have similar mods. mine is an auto with 3.15 gears 401/376. do you have a custom 3inch connecting pipes for the gibson catback?

I doubt eliminating the bottleneck would make much power difference. Your auto will always dyno less than a manual due to the auto having more parasitic loss. They do better at the track because they shift faster, and shift automatically...easier to launch and drive. The type of dyno also makes a difference in the power number readings.

It kills me that our cars have so much "play" in the amount of hp from car to car. Yes UK a lot of it depends on the day, altitude, the dyno itself. But some guys are making around 450 and others are barely breaking the 400 mark with almost identical set ups. I have a feeling when I get mine on the dyno I'm gonna have a low number car

It's all about the dyno and the day. Dyno's aren't meant to compare raw numbers from car to car. Dyno's under similar conditions are meant to measure the delta of your increases and to ease tuning so you don't have to street tune the whole thing.

DA plays a big part in why our cars don't match up. Having put mine on the dyno at 6,000 elevation didn't help with the numbers, and to be in the 400's I am happy with that. Being close to sea level elevation you will always have a better running car. Thicker air equals happier engine, equals "MORE POWER".

Seems nowadays there are a lot more dyno manufacturers too. Back in the day I can only remember seeing Dynojet and Mustang dyno's. I'm used to Dynojets, and they're usually very comparable when using SAE numbers. I've had previous cars on three local Dynojets and they all dyno'd within a few hp with the same car.

Typically corrected numbers at elevation show much more power on the readings then at sea level. Some manufacturers love to show the huge dyno numbers, specially those with boost.

Different dyno's produce different numbers , it's only a tuning tool. I have same mods ( different brands ) and my Dyno was 405/373. Haven't found a NA 2013 - 2015 in my area I can't out run. Power to pavement is where it's proven.

Guys... I said that Ik that all these things play a part in numbers and etc. but I've seen two almost identical cars, running the same tuner on the same dyno and same day make prolly 20hp difference. That being said couldn't ever tell it on the street, just find it interesting not complaining
