Why show results in standard? SAE is about 10hp lower at these power levels. And in the right units to compare to engine horsepower as I understand it.
It doesn’t really matter what correction factor is used. Realistically, uncorrected is what the engine is actually making based on current environment conditions. (Air density) Correction factors are only beneficial when comparing identical setups realistically.
If the DA is much lower, then STD/SAE will display a higher number than “uncorrected”.

No you didn’t, as a matter of fact from what I’ve seen it’s mostly the 45-65 year old crowd of elder millennials and young boomers with orders in.

That's what we were supplied with from the customer that sent it to us.

Keep your S550’s. Trust me.
I've owned, built and raced several pretty bad ass S550's. After spending some quality time and driving 2 S650's I can say that the new car is on another level from them. Just wait till Whipple starts shipping their Gen 6 3.0L kits for the new cars. It's going to be insane.

You know I call it how it is. Thanks for all the support over the years Cory!

Can you expand on how you found the two S650s you drove to be on another level?

They appear to be nothing more than an interior and exterior re-skin. Mechanically and structurally nearly identical.

Both cars I drove felt smoother and had better ride quality than the S550's I've owned besides my 2020 GT500 CFTP. I know for a fact the springs changed from the previous year. Not sure about the shocks and struts or the calibration for Magneride.

As far as braking goes it's a big difference. The premium GT's have similar brakes to the 2020+ GT500 where most S550's don't. The only S550 I know of that shares similar brakes to the the 2020 GT500 or S650 premium is the Mach 1. The premium brakes have 16" rotors and a 6 piston caliper up front and the rears are 14" with 4 piston calipers.

Power wise I felt the new car to definitely have more pep in it and the dyno numbers back back that up. Both the 10R80 car and the MT82 car I got to drive to me just felt like an overall improvement. The MT82 car specifically being very easy to shift and no problems finding gears.

My overall impression was that it's definitely a higher caliber car than the S550 and I'm really looking forward to diving deep into the platform once our cars show up.

Hey Jared. Have you picked up your S650 yet (I assume you have one ordered)? Starting to see a couple videos up on YouTube from owners and they say the steering/handling is much better. Just watched a video last night of a guy here in Chicago area who said the handling is way better than his old S550 but he didn’t really expand on it. Curious to hear your thoughts. My dealer has a DH inbound and I’m going to get to drive it, looking forward to seeing what it’s all about.

My manual GT premium shipped and should be here shortly. My DH is scheduled for 10/2. As soon as these things show up you know I'll be right on it.

Here's what I replied with to the person who posted just before you.

Thanks, saw your reply to the previous post right after I posted mine LOL. Look forward to hearing your thoughts once you get your hands on your cars!
