Hey all!

I am considering purchasing a set of SVE M1 reps 19x10 wheels from LMR. I asked them and they told me the load rating for each wheel is 1521 lbs. My only concern is would this be strong enough to take to the track? I also haven't been able to find any information about the stock PP wheel load rating. Thoughts?

Should be fine. Obviously a fully forged wheel will be lighter and stronger (and more $$) so if you’re really looking to push the car and get the best lap times, fully forged wheels are the better option. I plan to use my SVE wheels for a few years as I improve my capabilities. Once I’m to a point where I’m more intermediate and above, I plan on getting a set of fully forged wheels most likely from Apex.

This is by no means going to turn into a track rat car, this is just the first time I've purchased aftermarket wheels for my mustang and wanted to be sure they wouldn't break for the occasional HPDE/track day. Sounds like they should be fine. Thanks:like:

I've got 20 track days on SVE wheels. They're solid.
LMR has great sales on them too or you can even find them on their ebay store. I got my 19x11 set off ebay for $500 for all four.

Awesome! Any idea when they have the sales? Maybe a promo code for being a member of the forum? I was planning on buying them today and I don't see any holidays happening in the next week or two that's big enough for a sale.

All the major holidays. I got my 19x10 set during Memorial day sale for $800 for the set. My ebay set was just random.
Search SVE wheels on ebay and see if you get lucky. Sometimes they sell paint defects on there for crazy cheap.

Just keep an eye out on their eBay vendor account: https://www.ebay.com/str/latemodelrestoration

The sales are ok, but the best deals you can get is when they are selling off display models or something similar. I also got a full set brand new (with slight blemishes) for under $600. Every once in a while they post them, or during the major holidays as mentioned.

FYI Steeda is having a sale right now on their branded parts, wheels included. Not sure how many folks track the Tridents and if you’re even interested in any of the Steeda wheels. Agree on catching the LMR sales, they’re usually quite good. Sign up for their emails, you’ll get notified of all their sales, they even have some random sales in between holidays.

I will add, LMR wheels are very high quality and their Customer Service is solid. They worked with us when we were developing spacers for some of their wheels. Apex Wheels are untouchable for value in a flow formed track centric wheel. Professional Road Racers have switched to them from forged. I have beat the crap out of cheap $150 cast wheels riding curbing through apexes, so most of these wheels are legit for a Mustang.

I went ahead and got a set of the 19x10 M1 Reps from LMR! So far their customer service has been great! Looking forward to the lighter wheels and square 285 set up :)
