Just tried it. Have no idea how much it cost me in rubber but it was cool to try! Next time I will make sure the windows are up and the wind isn't blowing from the backside of the car. cough-cough.:eyebulge:

Why would a Ford installed option void warranty if you use it? I really doubt it.

I would but my car told me I couldn't activate it and said see owners manual!

Is there some minimum miles on car before it will activate? I was at 350 miles and was going through and playing with track apps.

Because the manual specifically says it's for track use only and that racing your car will void your warranty?

Not sure if they changed policies, but Nissan used to not honor warranty claims for launch control on the GTR because it destroyed transmissions.

Ford considers racing you with another car right next to you going down a track trying to beat eachother. You can run linelock and be at the track all day and your warranty is still good.

Yeah not any indicator of transport mode. I haven't tried since then. I tried it right after changing the tires out. So I am considering trying it again in the driveway. To see if it was something to do with tpms not reaquiring signal or something.

That is what I had happen the first few times. You actually have to activate and then hold the brake pedal down while it "pumps up" which you can feel in the pedal. Then release the pedal and it counts down for 15 seconds which, at any time, you can burn out.

You just need to try it differently.

:doh: yeah I went out to try it and did exactly this. I was letting off pedal before hitting OK at the countdown screen. Thanks for the help. I will try to make a gopro video soon
