Any 2018 GT350 LB painted roof with black OTT stripes out there?

The Ford configuration pages shows that the roof stripes are grey with the black roof option but finding real life pictures is tough.

The more I look at it the more I like it. The 2017 LB w/black roof option looks like it came with out roof stripes.

Am I crazy?
If you get the black roof option, it won't have stripes on the roof at all.

The Ford configurator has been known to have a few bugs.

Track day at Thunderhill :)

(I may have overdone it with the HDR)
Man the one thing I really miss about CA are the race tracks. TH is one of my favorites. I envy you being able to run the GT350 there. I hope I can get mine (also LB but with black stripes) up there one of these days.

After a month-long search for a 2018 convenience package GT350 in this color combo, I finally found one, Chassis # J0184. Traded in my '16 tech GT350 in magnetic (and cash) but no regrets.

I know Ford is making a lot fewer GT350s for 2018 and even less with the convenience package, so very happy I found a dealer (100 miles away) with the exact color/package combo I would have ordered myself. Need those heated seats in western CT!

Campbell Ford in Michigan. The car is still listed on the company's website at $5,000 over sticker (in May 2016 the three GT350s on the showroom floor were marked up $15,000, so they might be willing to deal).

When I took my GT350 in to have the oil line recall fix performed, one of the service techs told me that another GT350 came in, but was hidden around back. I asked around, and heard that the GT350 that had just arrived might have been damaged in shipment. I noticed the lightning blue GT350 by the road at the dealership less than a month after that conversation, but do not know if it is the same car that was damaged in shipment. If you are interested in the car, check it over carefully.
I just bought that car Friday. Came from Indiana to pick it up...I got it under MSRP. 60,300..bc they cars.com had it listed at 58k. I went after that price but was willing to move as long as it wasn't over MSRP. As soon as I called they said the cars.com price was not correct and wanted 5k over. I tryed to hold my ground but knew anything under msrp is nearly unheard of.

As for damage I saw none. Panels aligned and all fender screws and door screws arent missing paint and don't show signs of removal. No rattles or anything either...so I think the car just sat bc of the weather and the markup they had on it in the summer months.

Yup, for what its worth the person on the Ford webpage chat said "I did recreate a sample build and I do see what you're talking about. This is an error and I'll document this for correction."

And I was starting to like it lol

Congratulations on the purchase of the new car, you certainly received a good deal on the car. For some reason I cannot see the pictures that you posted, but I think that you will really be impressed with how the car changes color on sunny summer days.

So far I love it. It's hard to let my Terminator go but you can tell this car is 14 years newer.

On a side note I double checked the car last night bc of your heads up and saw nothing out of the ordinary. But I did find the following...

The front splitter is definitely installed incorrectly. Another thing I noticed was the carpet directly below the rear seats is loose as hell. I removed the rear seat to check everything out...and it just looks like the carpet has poor fitment in that area. Does anyone else have this issue? I'm thinking I can solve it with some Velcro strips. Also the plastic seat rail cover on the driver's seat were not bolted and one was sitting loose on the rear floor board. Passenger seat was correct...so I'm thinking the fella installing the drivers seats on the line was lazy and didn't bother installing the screws...or he forgot.

I would be interested in hearing how this happened? How can a limited production car like this not get the proper attention at the factory? And at the dealership, especially when they are trying to charge AND on the car.

When I hear things like this I get so annoyed

I work at a big 3 OEM myself as an engineer, and my guess is that the installer somehow forgot the screws. Maybe he is slower than his counterpart that's installing the passenger side seats, maybe he's lazy, maybe he was interrupted. It appears that it may have gone unnoticed because there are still plastic clips that hold it in place. Those plastic clips may have been broken when the dealer let someone climb into the backseat as it was on the showroom floor.

I'm hoping the dealer will just ship me the parts, as I sent them photos today.

Good luck man. I hope the dealership does the right thing and squares this away for you. Sadly I don't have 100% confidence that they will.
