From what I gathered only 351 GT350/GT350R's produced.

That being said, I just picked up brand new GB Grabber Blue GT350
Out of the 7115 GT350/GT350R's produced for the 2017MY there were a total of 396 Grabber Blue cars produced in total.

The only more rare color for the 2017MY was the TY cars with only 146 cars produced.

Of course we know that this was a one year color only for the new generation GT350/R's with 369 regular GT350's being produced along with just 27 R models.

Of the 27 R models produced there were only 3 Grabber Blue Base R models produced and another 24 came with the Electronics Package.

Pretty cool color and to the best of my knowledge Grabber Blue was a one year only color in 1970 for the Boss 302 and the Boss 429 cars.

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

GB looks great! I'm not a stripe guy, so I'd go stripe delete with black roof, track pack or R model.
I too like this spec, had to have it.

Known to date....3 Grabber Blue GT350R cars are located within 3-4 hours from each other here in Northern IN.
1 of the 3 Grabber Blue Rs is currently FOR SALE on ebay that has a stripe delete and supercharged, located in Illinois.

Are there any other Grabber Blue Rs on this forum?

I purchased my HR897 back in August 2020 from a dealership in Chicago. With prices of most sports cars, I'm lucky I purchased this when I did. I didn't know the rarity of the Grabber Blue until after purchasing, now tht I know it's a 1 of 6 optioned car(Blk roof, Stripe Delete, Electronics pkg), I'd have a hard to parting ways with it.
I am keeping this mostly stock, only mods are a front end Kohr Motorsports carbon splitter and dive planes, Air raid air filter, passenger side Ford Motorsport air/oil separator, ZL1 add-ons tow hook, FULL car Stek PPF and just some add on TruFiber engine goodies.

One day if I did sell the car, I have a ton of memorabilia, Owners Supplemental Kit, Window Sticker, extra front top w/emblem and lower grille (NOS) and Shift knob will all go with the sale. I do have the stock Carbon Fiber wheels with an SVE knock off set that stays on 90% of the time.
All records are being documented and kept, Amsoil 5w50 oil changes and Amsoil in rear end and transmission for added protection. I have my Ford Extended warranty until 2025 or 36k miles $0 deductible.

I enjoy driving this car, I'm a member of a local exotic/muscle car driving club and take it to our local Cars and Coffee here in Indiana.

Grabber Blue is 1 of the best colors on the GT350 in my opinion and since it was only made 1 year of the GT350s, makes it that more special.

Great looking car and congratulations on owing HR897.

For the 2017 MY there were 942 R models built for that single model year after which time the FRAP built a total of 24 Electronic Package R models and just 3 Base R models coming in Grabber Blue for the 2017 model year.

Hey Harry been awhile. As I get a chance to peek in here to see what's going on in the world of the GT350 there was a Grabber Blue "R" Base for sale. Do you or anyone have any info on how the sale went? Thanks

GB17GT350, Really enjoy seeing the pics of your car! We are also Indiana folks on the other side of the state. See that you may track a bit & wondering what tracks you may attend?

I was going off the Production numbers from this website;

https://mustangfanclub.com/shelby-gt350-gt350r-production-numbers/

Can I ask what information/production numbers source you have cited?

After purchasing and posting this Shelby on Forums and multiple Facebook Shelby group pages, most everyone had pointed me to the website I have provided for production numbers of 2015-2019 Shelby GT350s.

Thank you for providing any information.

I definitely see the 24 GB Rs with Electronics package and 3 with NO electronic package.
I just wanted to be sure that my Black roof/no stripe and Electronic package is definitely still a 1 of 6 combo as I see on the Ford Performance production number sheet.

I just wondered if I was reading this wrong.

Greetings, thank you for that. I have yet to attend any track events due to scheduling conflicts. I wouldn't mind taking to the track sometime in the future. I mainly drive my car for weekend pleasure driving and local driving club events where we travel the state.

Hopefully rezzing an old thread isn't a huge no no here but I am very seriously looking at getting a Grabber Blue GT350 around March 2023. Would love to get in touch with current owners and/or anyone flirting with the idea of selling theirs. Looking to join this small club :)

A friend just sold his Grabber Blue GT350R, white stripes, base model back to the dealership a few days ago. He bought it a few years ago, Heller Ford in Ohio I think, not sure if they put it in the market yet.
I had a 75k offer for mine a few months back, however I'm not looking to sell my GT350R in Grabber Blue just yet. Here is a picture of both our cars we took this spring.

Beautiful car! Did you get the number plates from the guy that made them for the Track Attack school?

I didn't. These are actually magnetic numbers. I got them from a company in San Francisco California.
Graphics by the Bay.

They are the ones who gave me a few different designs to choose from. Hope this helps.
