The only thing you had to purchase was the lid? I. E. The GT500 lid attaches right onto the GT350 box with no additional pieces?

I have what is presumed to be a competely sock GT350 box as was supplied in the Ford Performance Power Pack 2 kit.
I also have the pp2 on my car
There are a couple of gaps that you have to seal. I used foam tape and weatherstripping.

Correct. PP1 car here. I installed the GT350 TB/airbox with tune and didn't love the open filter. I got the GT500 airbox with lid and it mates good to the GT350 intake tube. Just fill the connection with weatherstripping like luc mentioned. I also wrapped the back side of the air box with heat tape.
Temps are pretty good and I'm happy.

If you currently have the GT350 intake, then the Levittown kit should get you everything you need (maybe minus the snorkel thing, but if you already have a GT350 open box you probably already have the snorkel part you need.

I just put all that on a 15-17 GT chassis car which had a GT350 intake.

Thanks for reply!!!! Our Maxh 1 or GT350 rubber tube should fix the GT500 box and lid? Correct.
How did it work out for you via 15-17 GT?? Anything else u needed?

rubber tube…. If you mean the intake part between the throttle body and the air filter, then yea the Levittown kit should have you covered.

my situation is a little special, I’m putting a Voodoo 5.2 into a GT and it didnt come with any airbox, so the levittown kit killed two birds with one stone. I had to source the shorter snorkel from the grill to the airbox, (the GT part I had was much longer to reach the smaller GT airbox) but you’ll just will reuse the snorkel from your mach 1 airbox when you put in the GT500 part.

In the photo you can kind of see the ground through hole where the snorkel I was missing would be (next to the radiator bracket). I just needed to buy that part separately. One of about 10 little gotchas on this rare swap job.

There's no lid for it
To be precise, there is no need for a lid, because the hood ist the lid.
The GT350/Bullitt/Mach1 air box seals against the sound dampening mat on the hood.
That's not the case with a GT500 hood, therefor the GT500 lid.

The GT350 air-box did not seal on the hood of my ‘17 GT. So I bought the Levittown Ford kit modifying with the GT500 lid.

That box in a 2015-2017 GT is not an OEM application. With a GT350 hood it should seal.

But, I am installimng the Shaker hood kit on my Mach and the underhood insulation needs to be ripped off. Hence the need to close the filter, or higher IATs and water on filter.
