I'm waiting to see results from the CJ Manifold to make my decision about doing the swap or not.

They did. The car gained power with the Boss manifold over stock while on nitrous, but without the nitrous the Boss manifold lost power over stock.
N/A I partially agree with you ... with a centrifugal unit installed I would actually be extremely interested in swapping manifolds.
Yeah it would be great to see the data.

With the UPR Adj motor mounts, you can stil the BOSS or CJ under the factory hood with no modifications.

With tuning, theirs no real gains over the factory manifold (as of yet) The stock 15 with the IMRC Plates is making great power.

I personally would put money elsewhere and not worry about the manifold yet.

I watched a video by Lund racing, they installed a boss manifold. It made a few more hp and lost 6 lb-ft. The big improvement was it continued to make peak hp until around 7800 Rpm. Your power output was cconsiderably longer. I am not at home otherwise I would find it, but Google 2015 gt with boss manifold and Lund.

Yeah I've seen that. It won't clear the hood unless you lower the motor with motor mounts. I'm talking other manifolds, anything aftermarket coming down the pipeline? Other solutions to fitting the Boss?

So, obviously the boss and cobra jet manifold don't fit under the stock hood without lowering the engine, so anyone know if anyone is planning on making one compatible with the new S550?

Anyone know how much the engine would have to be lowered to allow the current cobra jet manifold work?

I did also notice that the GT350 uses a stock style manifold so maybe the new manifold is better than we might think?

Any thoughts?

I'd like to know how much weight reduction they did for that.

go to "what things weigh thread" in general forums. they pretty much did all of those things. and put in a light weight Ford racing bumper bar. im not sure where to get one of those but I would like one.

lund and bama did testing with the boss intake manifold and both came up with some different results. bama used the boss intake to work better with nitrous. lund found out with a tune that you can pick up some good horsepower about 12 if I remember but you do lose some torque down low. although no one has tested the 2015 with the cobra jet manifold yet. I would be very interested in any testing with the cobra jet on the 2015

Supposedly someone did, I think it was Beefcake, said the Cobra Jet intake manifold didn't do well on the 2015 version of the 5.0.

if the GT350 manifold will bolt up to non FPC heads that might be the golden ticket because it has enough flow to support 8200 rpm and still has the CMCV to help the low end

That would be sweet, but I'm sure a premium price over the Boss manifold because it's GT350, and maybe unavailable for a while. Aftermarket companies have to be working on these, right? I mean the car's been out for over 6 mos already.
