It would be much easier and much less of a headache to buy some Jrz suspension and be done.

Never heard of them, but when I did, apparently they are amazing. Do you know if they have a set up for every car? And what's the usual cost of their suspension system?

I love it, when you realize how smooth it keeps the car at low or high speeds.
It lets you drive, Less time avoiding little bumps, more time driving.

I am betting this will become more standard on many cars in the future.

I saw a new Chevy Truck TV commercial where magnaride is standard.

Not sure what you have but odds are if it's a performance vehicle then yes they do. They make them for the s550, prices range between the product lines, a competition oriented setup is 4500 and a more street/club race level setup is a little under 3500. When I was originally looking at 350's I had planned to do jrz's and such and add coolers later. I opted for the track package for several reasons. I would still be willing to bet a properly setup RS pro JRZ package would be superior to the magneride on track.

Have a '16 Base incoming. However, priority would fall onto getting coolers first if from personal experience, the car goes into limp mode on the streets this summer.

Having a chance to try a magna ride car, I got to say its a whole lot different than a 16 base. Even sport feels kinda squishy. Normal feels like the shocks are blown. Sport makes the front end start to work, normal is just not a good feeling experience when cornering. On a dead smooth track I'd expect little difference in handling, adjustible suspension winning the rougher the track gets. While the base is definitely over damped I'm not sure I believe it has softer front springs than the magna ride cars. Very stiff vs the others

That said, unless you want the aftermarket coilover feel, magna ride is definitely the way to go.

I love the Normal mode feel on the road. You have to feel Sport and Track actually out giving it the full beans. Even corner carving on a twisty road doesn't fully extract what's hidden in the MagneRide system. In fact, when I autocross, Track Mode is actually TOO stiff. It's constantly kicking the tail out. Sport has a more balanced feel.

I can't say the same about the magneride exhibiting any blown shock feel. I've gave the car a pretty good workout on backroads in normal and it felt good. Never getting upset and soaking up most bumps pretty well. Sport would be over damped for most road I run on and would likely only see use on the street by myself on a smooth well paved road.
