Search function is your friend. Now if you cannot find anything on oil, you did the right thing by asking. This subject has been beat to death in the past.
That said, why haven’t you changed your oil in about 5 years?
Of course I change my oil. Pls reread my original post. I just got a replacement engine and yes I have found oil, that is not the question

Lots of luck with the filter...And is there a "Warranty" with your new motor ?
If so then, here we go with what "Might" void a warranty, oil choice, filter choice and so on...:frown:

No worries. In fact, on the original engine I had regular oil filter and did the conversion to cartridge one. Change oil myself every 5k.

I bought a Ford extended when I got the car. I have 2 years left

Examining Mobil-1 specs they currently say they do not have a 5w50 that meets Ford specs.
Interesting to know. I didn't realize there were different formulas. Just thought full synthetic 5w50 was required. Thanks for the info
