I did call them once about winter rims. They seemed like good guys, but they couldn't help me at all. Nothing against them, but I was underwhelmed. They couldn't even tell me whether other Mustang rims such as the current PP rims would fit.
They are clearly giving us all of the info that they have at the time. I'm just impressed that they always sound to patient, consider the number of calls they must get.
Count me in as Isaac, Mike G., Mike R., Steve A. (Aaron also used to be part of their team) and the rest of their Ford Performance Team are outstanding individuals and I personally appreciate everything that they do for myself and for the rest of us Mustang and Blue Oval enthusiasts.
I was very fortunate to visit Steve A. at their Dearborn offices about a year and a half ago and it was very interesting to see all of the racing data that is all compiled on the various walls of their offices which at that time was still Ford Racing. I can tell you that based on what I saw FR/FP keeps a very close tab on all of their competition no matter what type of racing is involved.
Not sure what your plan is but I certainly would like to be part of it?
:ford::cheers:Ok,im sending a wish list all of us can appreciate.
GT500
1.800HP
2.10 auto for the guys that cant drive a stick for some reason
3.6 speed manual
4.7speed DCT found in the FORD GT.
see we can all appreciate that right!!
I used to work there with those guys. I wasn't on the phones doing the job they are, but I can tell you, they take calls ALL day. Ray, Steve, Tom and Marty on the Tech Line do the same, but for technical info on Ford Racing Parts.
The call center job isn't exactly glamorous, but I've gotta give it to them for the job they do.
