That doesn’t surprise me with the Lightning. I sold my ATC enclosed last year and need another trailer. I’m tossing around either a traditional tilt or maybe a drop style.

It's a tilt trailer, it is fine for the GT500 CFTP. The 350R needs race ramps. The lightning is fastest takeoff vehicle I own even with the GT500 in tow I can smoke a Scat Pack. I own about 20 performance cars and none of them launch as fast as the lightning.

Sucked how. Power, chassis, etc. Local dealer has one I’m going to go drive early this week. It’s either the bronco or the rubicon.

I test drove one, I thought it sucked.

Can you give me some feedback on it? My wife has been thinking about the Bronco, we just dont see many around here to get some feedback.
So we were coming from a solid axle Jeep Wrangler. The IDS of the Bronco is night and day better than the Jeep. She drives it in town with very little off road use, so the comfort of ride is great.

Not sure how much you know of the cluster the Bronco rollout was, but long story short I ended up getting a unit in TX a year ago vs. waiting for my order. We wanted to stay under 40k, so went with the Big Bend unit. The only difference b/t the one we purchased vs. our order was the front bumper. I wanted the modular bumper, just for looks, but ended up with the standard plastic one. I picked up some take off wheels and tires from a Badlands unit locally, so now running a nicer wheel with 33" BFG's.

We also wanted a manual, so it only comes with the 4 cyl. It has plenty of power for her/us. It is by far the easiest manual I have ever driven. Some have had issues with the manual, but ours has been perfect. We love the rig. I am glad I found the one I did, b/c I would still be waiting on my order.

After 24 years I retired my green machine for a new F150. V8 with a 6.5 bed. Very happy.

I have been happy with the tilt.

Thanks for the response. I didn’t pay alot of attention to the roll out. We would order one, so time frame isn’t a big issue. She’d want the 10 speed auto which is really good, we have a few vehicles with that. We’re at 6k feet so probably the six as well. You confirmed what I thought the feel would be like compared to the straight axle. She’s not off roading(have a Rzr Pro 4 for that), just wanted a change and has always wanted a Jeep but suggested she liked the Bronco better.

I've driven both and didn't like either. Just not my cup of tea. You will see. Boxy, clunky, underpowered, it was a hard pass for me

I get that. My daily is a F550 at 12.5k lbs, so next to that everything is sporty. I will say my 550 and 450 have amazing brakes and turning radius’s.

Can you give me some feedback on it? My wife has been thinking about the Bronco, we just dont see many around here to get some feedback.
I drove one and liked it, but the wife wanted her color and a 2 door (wasn't even available to place an order at the time) and she ended up buying the Bronco Sport instead. I drove the V6 Sasquatch 10 speed model of the Bronco and it had plenty of power for an SUV in my opinion. It's not sporty, the suspension is soft and the vehicle has a lot of body motion compared to anything I drive regularly. But I didn't find it unpleasant at all to drive. It doesn't have a ton of leg room, but lots of head room. I liked the style of it a lot. It has engine shut off, but you can kill that with a button.

It's a little loud inside - we were in a soft top model. A lot of the problems have been with the removable hard tops. And since we are in MN, for the wife the soft top is a non-starter.

She got the Badlands version of the B.S. and I really like it. Love the way it drives and it's comfortable. Body motions are a lot more controlled than the Bronco, but driving it the controls need a firm hand. It feels more like a truck than a car. She's had no problems getting around in the winter. We're in an area that the plows take their sweet time to reach, so it's nice for her to have 4WD and ground clearance. I think the Bronco Sport was a better decision for her. It costs less and has an actual metal roof on it. It's a lot more practical.

Thanks for that. My wife has an Explorer St now which is a great suv. If we did it we’d switch the top to an aftermarket full power setup which are much more substantial then the factory soft tops.

I've always liked Explorers. The wife thinks they are too low to the ground and car-like.

The B-Raptor has been the second most fun on the bad weather days. I absolutely love this thing.

Tracking the Shelby was a big motivation for needing the ability to carry spare items/wheels. The Raptor is the first truck I have ever owned and the experience has been enjoyable

Now that I can build 6 lug wheels it inspired me to throw a set of Signatures on it as well.

Drop a pic of your brodozer!

My 99’ F-250 SD 4x4 with 7.3 and ZF-6. I have owned it since about mile 20. I was told it was the first SD4x4 in California . It has a list of mods that I have done to it.
