Log shows about 55psi, but he's 1.50-1.60 fuel trim....

Seems like there would be a massive intake leak.

Is the BAP on? You could take it out.
the light is on, but I measure 12v on the pumps where I thought it should be upped to 18v

I’ll look up some pics

Pretty sure there isnt any vac leak, but if there is it is TINY to the max.
Even when I released a vac line when the car had not ran for 3-4 hours the line would say pssssht like a can of soda.
smoke detection did not give me anything

Just measured the pump on boost and it gives 18v, so thats off the list too.
It gives 12.28 (battery power) when in stand by, it gives the 18v when I connect the grey wire with earth (thats the proper way to test it according to the manual from jms) i think it is a jms p2020

which makes it worse in my book…what injectors do you have, and what proof is there that they are actually in there?

Yea, are you 100% sure your mod list matches what's on the car?

MAF counts look like what I would expect at idle, smaller injectors would definitely run lean.

take more pics

no, but that’s my point…my mod list is less than his, and I’m running a bigger head unit, more boost, with no BAP 😉

agreed, more pics before this turns into a Lund bash-fest 😂

What would you like to see on the pics?

on the invoice of the initial tune it says the injector type. Its a 1 owner car and has been maintained at the garage I bought it from all its live, injector should be the right type. Can take them out and have them tested, but the specialist said he sees no point at 10k miles and 98(eu)/ 93 (us) octane used only.

should I replace the fuel filter(s) maybe?

If you’ve got 55 psi at the rail at idle but the idle is lean, then its not the fuel. If its going lean under load, different story.

my 100k mile GT was 20% lean under load. Pump couldnt keep up with the requests and pressure would drop at high RPMs and a new pump assembly fixed it.

a fuel pressure gauge is a lot of help dignosing pump issue as well as the multimeter you’re using.

the 350 uses a fuel rail pressure sensor to index into its fuel pump voltage tables so I guess make sure the datalogs for that pressure sensor look right too.

but if they have tune setup for the id1050x and they arent in there, that could explain? So I think to take them out and maybe have them tested once I’m at it?

I have double fuel pumps and just measured and found that 1 is being boosted, the other isnt…that might be a thing…i measure at the same point in both of the connectors and 1 is getting 12v and the other gets the boosted 18v.
Still doesnt say why its lean on idle as I dont think it does boost on idle.

This gets better and better…when looking at these injectors I think these are just oem parts. On the invoice it said 1050x but no mention of a bap…think they changed their minds and just added a booster.
But that just boosts one pump it seems.

i read the bosch code 0280 158, so that should be the oem injectors (ev14)

wtf. Think I need to wire the booster correctly and ask for a tune without bap, but with oem injectors.

any way to confirm from the pic it is oem injector? Id1050 look to have more steel in sight where these seek all plasticy

Ok checked how the booster pump from jms should work, it is normal for the primary fuel pump to be boosted and the other one just oem 12v power.
so i think all is good and I just ask lund for a new tune with bap but for oem injectors.

Right?

… If you can confirm which injectors they are.
