I'm still confused as to why Ford developed the FPC just to use it for only 15-18 GT350. That seems like a large money sink instead of just using a 5.2L CPC based on the 5.0.

It was development for the next gen FPC V12 that will go into the 2023 Ford Pantera.

If it’s true that the car is going to have carbon ceramics, Don’t you guys think there will be an R version of some kind?

Also, what’s this special ford announcement that they mention in this article a day before the NAIAS, I cant find it listed anywhere.

DBK made a post regarding weight to a fella, stating to come back in a few months and see. 3 months would make it a NY show March 30th. By this it makes me think the thing is gonna be mid summer before anyone sees a car. :(

IDK, Maybe it’s in 2 weeks but maybe the Chicago show. It’s just a guess as to what he was alluding to. How about no later than end of March. My guess is we see it within 2 months, but hopefully 2 weeks.
I have my reservations as to why they wouldn’t show it soon but I’d be shunned.

Unless it's just not ready I can not understand why they would skip Detroit for Chicago!?! Could it be that they know the ME corvette is going to be unveiled at Detroit and they don't want to compete with that??

Imho the Bullitt is merely a appearance package not really worth of a big reveal!? Putting it in the same league as the 500 would be silly!

Agree with that. The Bullitt isn’t headliner material. But I could understand that not revealing there, they could spread out their publicity for their product.

I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if for the next 2 months we get tid bits dropped, purposely by ford this time, to build up some hype. They don’t want to spill the beans all at once. Could be wrong about that but it just makes sense.
Why not build hype, if they can.

Yeah, I could be wrong about it, I’m not sure they hyped the 350 before reveal? Would think this one would follow the same type of deal.
