I must correct myself.. they're in fact not a 320 wear rated tire. They're 340 wear rated

What did I learn today.

1. Don't do a big smokie burnout with these tires. They become dangerous.

2. These tires are by no means made for the drag strip. Period.

3. You cannot find a sweet spot at the drag strip with these tires.

Have to launch off idle.
Ease into it.
Short shift 1-2
They will break loose through 3rd no matter what. 4th your good.

Best run of the day.

With a very hard compound, burnout doesn't work like I had stated and you also came to conclude. Burnout will help with summer tires though. I'm glad you had fun.

If you're going to use drag radials if ever needed, only use M&H ones.

Ton-o-fun . Was shocked with high 12's... thought it was gonna be a 14 second kinda day. Worse run for me was a 13.3 @ 109 .

There was a 2023 GT PP car on Nitto G2 / MT82 and he was running 14.5-14.7 at 97-99 mph all day. He only had problems spinning a bit outta the hole.
Man something was really wrong with his car if he wasn't even cracking 100mph lol. Way down on power

Granny or short shifting is my guess. But he said he shifted when the dash 'changed colour'.

Your launch looked good to me!
Side note, how do these tires handle? I've always been tempted by the low price tag.

Thanks. Was basically off-idle ha-ha.
As for how they handle, fricken terrific !
Like 98% of the best Michelins.
Braking is phenomenal, so is the wet traction.

Haha this cracks me up. Used Wallace calculators:
My run was 12.80 @ 111 mph.
Plugged my 1/8th mile times into the calculator.

Your 1/4 Mile ET is 13.42 seconds computed from your vehicle 1/8th ET of 8.47 seconds.
Your 1/4 Mile MPH is 109.12 MPH computed from your vehicle 1/8th MPH of 88 MPH.
