My TCS keeps on turning on when I take off. I set it on track mode and still goes off, which slows me down. Ran a 12.4.

Also, do you guys foot brake it or do you launch from idle?


2020 GT premium 10R80 only mod is et street R.

You completely disable tcs or wjat setting track mode puts it on?

I foot brake and launch at 1750 RPM in 1st gear.
Advance Trac off with Drag Mode on and shifter in "S"
If you don't touch the paddles, it will shift itself.

19 A10 Premium 3.55 gear, drag mode, adv track off by holding switch for ~8 seconds, gear selector in D, foot brake to 2000 rpm or as much as it will hold, and let her rip on green. I plan to test launching from idle next time to see the difference.

I am on a 26" tall bias ply rear tire. 1.851 60' at 18 psi cold. 1.864 60' at 16 psi cold.

I do NOT reccomend using factory "transbrake" on stock driveline parts.
I'm not able to engage the "hidden" transbrake, but I am tempted!
Watched a video on YouTube video, where a guy had his activated and "stripped out his axle" on his 1st launch!?

FYI: transbrake is not NMRA legal in "foot brake only" class racing... But you can use it in other classes...

i have it on my car, and it damn near feels like a straight neutral drop more than it does an actual transbrake that engages first and reverse.

went to the track again. they opened sunday since we got rain on saturday.

1st run
60ft: 1.94
1/4mi: 12.0 @ 117.67 mph

2nd run
60ft: 1.92
1/4mi: 11.93 @ 118.35 mph

3rd run (with 170lbs passenger)
60ft: 1.9
1/4mi: 12.005 @ 117.67

mods in signature.


Overall I am extremely happy with the results. I think I couldve pulled off an 11.8, but I had to leave early. DA was dropping nicely, but ran out of time.
My 2015 with lots of bolt ons ran best of 12.0, so I am very happy with sunday's results.


Ordered the E85 race tune from Lund. Just waiting on it to get it done.

great runs! Mine is has the flex fuel tables loaded into it, shifts bumped about 200 rpm, and the tip in retard turned down and Ive been a 11.902@116 .. Im the same as you when it comes to thinking it shouldve went an .80 but I just ran out of time, and surface.

yes, its flex fuel. I said it the way i did because we have very little "tuning" done to it. We did a bunch of safe stuff and ran with it. I work at a shop with a tuner and dyno we just dont have alot of time to do our own stuff, we've just made these changes during our lunch times.

Thanks for the info. Are you checking your peak MAF readings? I posted my first stock pull in a thread where people are comparing their peak MAF readings. I'm tuning my own with hptuners. Wish I had easier access to a dyno. I may not go to flex fuel until Spring but it's pretty easy to make the switch when it's just a bit in the calibration. And actually way easier, as I intend to make a dedicated E85 tune... I think literally it could be changing stoich and good to go.
