Regardless of what drive mode the car is in the LC indicator light stays on on the dash. Unable to find anything in the owners manual about this . Any ideas ?

You should be able to manually turn it off in track mode... I think it enables if you select track mode automatically then stays on unless turned off.

Left arrow to get into menu settings, hit OK on track apps, OK on launch control, OK to uncheck box.

This is something I've noticed in my GT350 as well, that LC will randomly be on. I guess it happens even if I cycle through the drive modes and go past track, LC gets enabled? That seems strange to me that LC would be enabled by default with track mode when there's a specific drag mode. Luckily there's a handy switch for LC to turn it off without having to go into a menu :giggle:. But what happens when LC is enabled randomly while driving around normally? Is it doing anything bad, or anything at all even? I guess not since I only know its on from the dash, just strange.

LC is only a rev limiter when you are stopped and holding the clutch and gas pedal. You set it to, like 3500 rpm, you keep the clutch depress and press the gas pedal to the floor. Rpm will stay at 3500. WHen you release the clutch, rpm will raise past 3500 rpm if you keep the gas pedal down.

So having it enable while driving around does not change anything.

On my car, if it is turn on in the menu, the LC icon won't appears until the engine reach a specific temperature. Maybe that is why you see it sometimes and sometimes not. It won't appears if the car is cold.

I keep mine on just as an indicator of when the car is ready to be push hard when I take it. When the motor and oil are warmed, the LC appears.

That's a great idea. Will turn it on just to see at which (fake) oil temperature it shows, out of curiosity :). Then turn it off again, since I'll never use that feature.
