Correct me if I am wrong but the difference between the regular tune and the custom tune is that with the custom tune, you specified what mods you have done on the car and the tune is generate accordingly. So in the case that the car is stock otherwise, I don't see the need for a custom tune...

I wrote to Lund racing and the response I got was that on 93 gas, with only a tune and no mode, I should not expect more that 10 hp gain, so not worth it. It seems weird as usually when I read about tuning, even the one from ford performance, seems to be worth it.

Isn't the tune adding something like 30 to 40 to the engine torque? And maybe taking care of rev hang?

I thought it was common knowledge by now that this is cause by the DI pump ramping up speed while it takes over PI at higher rpm??

LC is only a rev limiter when you are stopped and holding the clutch and gas pedal. You set it to, like 3500 rpm, you keep the clutch depress and press the gas pedal to the floor. Rpm will stay at 3500. WHen you release the clutch, rpm will raise past 3500 rpm if you keep the gas pedal down. So...

Finally got to install 5mm spacers on the front of my GT pp1. Still not enough for my taste but way better that stock. Much closer to the rear look.

Anybody has a link to 1/4 inch good spacer? I found some but they are not black. Would it look bad if they are not black? Or they will be completely hidden behind the wheels, even from an angle?
