You should be able to manually turn it off in track mode... I think it enables if you select track mode automatically then stays on unless turned off.

Looks normal to me, similar to what mine looks like. As long as you install it in reverse you're good to go, gives enough room for the pull up to reverse motion needed. Loctite will hold it.

I've wondered the same, I'm trying to remember if I've ever seen it during the day though, or if it's only a standard feature at night? I've seen it for sure at night, but don't recall ever seeing it during daylight. Was yours night driving?

I've had mine fall out of my pocket between the middle console and driver seat and couldn't find it knowing it was there for about 5 minutes... my money is that it's between that console and seat somewhere. Not sure where else it could be that wasn't already mentioned.

Why would you rev it from neutral to drive, or park to drive? Sounds like that would be really hard on the transmission.

I put mine lenses down (or up), it's got felt down there.

I think this and seeing the camera scared them (luckily), I have locking lug nuts on it now. Those aren't necessarily 100% effective either though, at least it's a deterrent.
