Lap time data comparison thread?

Howdy all!

Bit niche, but figured it might be a bit of fun for folks to upload the data files of their lap times at various tracks for others to download and compare. Great way to find extra time on track. As far as I know, you can't import Harrys Lap Timer data files in AIM's Race Studio, so comparisons might be a bit limited. BUT, I figured folks could just share what they have and anyone wanting to download it could.

Happy to curate a list in the top post and maintain a database if needed.

I've added my latest one - my session from Road Atlanta that contained my 1:40.329 lap - from my AIM Solo DL. Will have more from COTA this weekend hopefully.

Got a great reminder of how rusty I am when a pro coach (Anthony Magagnoli) jumped in my car at Grattan and proceeded to run 3 full seconds quicker than me by his 5th lap. There is a reason I don't earn money driving. Back when I was doing more W2W (2008-2012), when I had a good driver in my car (NASA nationals champion level), I was more like 0.5-1 second off the pace. I need more seat time!

I ran 1:29.4 and he ran 1:26.0. Tires were Cup2 about at end of life, with many heat cycles, and it was a very hot day.

Good point. OP I suggest we ask for basic setup (tire's/rims, engine mods, etc)

I generally understand keeping the GT350 forums separate, but for track times it's unnecessary. I'd urge you all to use that thread.

This is exactly what I;'m hoping this thread can do! It'd be great to give folks reference points along their journey. If you know someone is doing 2-3 seconds faster than you in virtually the same car, it can really help you look for where to go faster. Especially when you have detailed data files to compare!

Haha, unfortunately no. I was playing PC2 last night and KILLED my COTA lap times. Doubt I'll be getting 2:21 this weekend
