If you want to paint your car dookie brown and glue corn and peanuts all over it, it's your car and your money. Point being, it's your car, do whatever you want to it and don't worry about what others think.

They're fun at first but in the end they always end up having issues But it's your car do what you like.

This, I have yet to see a kit that lasted more than a year on a daily driven car, they always sag and I saw one rip off the hinge right in front of me. Let me see if I still have a pic somewhere.

It's your car and money and taste is subjective, but the all the problems are objective, so do what you want but you have been warned.

The only thing I see them on around here are 4 door Caddies on 22"+ wheels and trolling the wally world parking lot with them up and the stereo up.

I do think they add one nice benefit: Being able to easily get into your car when you can't open the door because even tho you park way to the side of the parking space line some asshat still has to come and park over the side of the line next to you leaving you barely enough space to open the door.

That's why I would have parked in that spot combat-style (backed in).

I'd be happy if we could just get Ford to put in door detents that stop the door before hitting the car in the space next to me, instead of right at the point of impact.

So true. Our doors are made to ding the hell out of the car next to us. Or in my case, slam into the steel post next to the gas pump and tink the paint off the "beak" of the door. :frusty:

I think a lot of people secretly like the lambo doors and simply jump on the hate band wagon the same way people "hate" Nickle back, and just remember, "somehow" nickel back makes a TON of money and released several albums that have been very successful

Just sayin....

I think the doors are cool, but adding them to a car that didn't come with them could be questioned.
