This, I have yet to see a kit that lasted more than a year on a daily driven car, they always sag and I saw one rip off the hinge right in front of me. Let me see if I still have a pic somewhere.They're fun at first but in the end they always end up having issues But it's your car do what you like.

That's why I would have parked in that spot combat-style (backed in).I do think they add one nice benefit: Being able to easily get into your car when you can't open the door because even tho you park way to the side of the parking space line some asshat still has to come and park over the side of the line next to you leaving you barely enough space to open the door.

So true. Our doors are made to ding the hell out of the car next to us. Or in my case, slam into the steel post next to the gas pump and tink the paint off the "beak" of the door. :frusty:I'd be happy if we could just get Ford to put in door detents that stop the door before hitting the car in the space next to me, instead of right at the point of impact.
