so this just happened today 🤬. Lady switched lanes last sec and hit me on the side. Luckily I have a dash cam and caught it all.
Anyone knows how they plan on fixing it and things I should look out for. This is my first accident ever 😪.

That's sad. I got hit soon after buying mine . . . but I was driving the old car. I would've cried.

That sucks! New fender for sure. Check the rim and tire for damage. Possibly new bumper cover if the clips got broken.

Agreeing on new fender, but they might wanna try to bang that one back into shape. Your call on that ultimately. I'd prefer a new fender.

Bumper cover can probably just be repainted. What's going on with the headlight? I don't see any visible damage on it.

The headlight is the big ticket item, north of $1k Ithink. The fender is aluminum and will be replaced. I don't recall exactly but I think a new one from Ford was $600ish. The bumper cover doesn't look bad enough to replace but hidden clips could be broken.
I recently had a very similar accident. It was my fender, drivers door skin, side mirror and some scuffing on the rear quarter. Total cost of repair was $3500.

did it look good when you got it back ? I’m worried it won’t look the same anymore cause it was brand new

It’s scratched on the side and possibly bent clips.

Ahhh, couldn't quite tell from the pictures. Yeah, that'll get replaced as well, then. Insured?

Fender is cheaper than the body work. They will just replace. IMO

By the picture most of the front facia scrub will come of with a little laquer thinner. Most of the rest will buff out.

If the OP can feel any scratches or ridges with his finger nail? What remains will likely be too deep to remove.
