I think the wording above was incorrect. The blower packages are rated in Phases and the Roush full kits are rated in Stages. i.e. Blower phase 1 or phase 2. and Roush stage 1, 2, and 3. You can buy a Roush Stage 3 Phase 2 for example.

My guess

Anybody's guess as to what this would run in the 1/4 on base GT tires?
Without tire upgrade and suspension probably still low 11s ..with correct tire and suspension..the sky is the limit.
Just my guess.

727 hp Mustang for under $40,000!

Real deal apparently. May be trading up!

From a site-

Lebanon Ford, in Lebanon, Ohio, wants to sell you a 727-horsepower Mustang GT with a Phase 2 Supercharger for exactly $39,995. Somehow, that price is full-delivered. The obvious question is: how the hell is that even possible? Well, there are three components to a custom car: the vehicle, the additional parts, and the labor to install the latter into the former. Because a brand-new Mustang GT costs no less than $32,395 and Roush lists a Phase 2 supercharger kit for $7,549.99, we called the sales department to see how they were doing the math.

Charlie Watson is the Roush parts manager and says the dealer's amazing $39,995 price for a 727-horsepower Mustang is part of a decision they made "to focus on establishing a nationwide base of enthusiasts (note: they'll ship anywhere) rather than making huge profits on each car." By squeezing numbers on each of the three aforementioned components—Mustang GT MSRP, Roush Phase 2 supercharger MSRP and labor—Lebanon Ford is able to get cars out the door for under $40k and still make a little money. However, most customers don't stop at the base price. Watson says many of the cars go for $45,000-$50,000, with a couple reaching as far as $60,000. Essentially, if a customer has a vision for a custom Mustang, the service team is happy to build it. That can mean performance and durability upgrades, like bigger brakes, stronger half-shafts, and custom wheels, or visual enhancements, like new paint, a full Roush bodykit, or two-tone leather interiors. So far, over two dozen of the ludicrously powerful Mustangs have been sold, and the dealer has both a good inventory of Mustang GT's on the lot and a back order on the supercharger packages from Roush.

Asked about how they came up with the idea, Watson noted that while cars like the Dodge Challenger Hellcat and even Ford's Shelby GT350R were wild performance bargains at $60,000-$80,000, they were still out of reach of many people. Lebanon Ford, it seems, was feeling democratic: let's give 727 horses' worth of power to the people.

The kicker? Approved buyers can finance their Hellcat-beating coupes with no money down. Now that's crazy.

It's not that great of a deal...the only thing you're saving is the cost of the install for the supercharger. However you're still paying full price for a base car.

It's a gimmick....there's no real savings here.

Moreover, I thought the Phase II option was ineligible for any powertrain warranty? Still -- when it's bundled like that, it's genius marketing... It's not a big savings, but I don't think I'd call it a bad deal.

It's still a decent deal. Not paying for labor on the supercharger is like getting the car close to X-plan/invoice price.

I guarantee no shop is doing that install for less than around $1,500 since it involves more than 1 day and cutting into the block. Let me clarify, no Ford dealership/ASE mechanic to get the warranty on the supercharger.

Plus the warranty itself costs $995 through Roush too that you have to buy to get the 36 mo/36k miles.

Xplan/invoice is $2500 below MSRP roughly. So it's a wash there. It's not really a bad deal at all.

And last I checked the Stage 2 package was not available with a warranty from Roush, that's only good on the Stage 1. So unless it's a typo if there is an implied warranty it would have to be through the dealer...which does zero good if you don't live near them.

I didn't say it was a bad deal, I said it wasn't a great deal. It's just a gimmick to get people to their store, with no substantial savings to be had.

Just spoke with my buddy who just bought a 2016 CS with the Phase 2 supercharger from Lebanon Ford. He says that since Lebanon Ford is a Roush dealer, Roush will warranty the Phase 2 for 3 years. I believe because Lebanon is the one who installed it and not some guy off the street.

This is great news. I think it is a pretty good deal for those of us who want a quality performance product and don't have the time to do the work on our own.

Interesting since supposedly you can only get the warranty if it's installed by a Roush certified shop anyways.

And the last thing @Kyle@ROUSH said when they released the Stage 2 is that it did NOT have a warranty available.

So if your buddy has that warranty I hope he has it in writing.

Anytime you can get that kind of power with a warranty it's a steal. Try building it yourself and in the process voiding your warranty for that price.
