no that price is for the car+blower+stage 1. they'll do stage 2 if you want. that's 727 stage 1 at the crank... not the wheels. stage 2 is higher.

I read the advert as stage 2 for 39,999.

"Lebanon Ford, in Lebanon, Ohio, wants to sell you a 727-horsepower Mustang GT with a Phase 2 Supercharger for exactly $39,995. "

So this car should have no warranty then.

Stage 1 is 670 at crank Stage 2 is 727 at crank.

....yes they come with the warranty.... it's the next level up roush tune that has limited parts only warranty. they sell both. both you can choose from.

https://www.facebook.com/ROUSHPerformanceMustangs/?fref=ts

The Warranty…This kit comes with a 3 year, 36,000 mile parts-only limited warranty. For those of you who are more risk adverse, we can honor the same package price for our 670 horsepower Phase 1 kit and include ROUSH’s 3 year, 36,000 mile Power Train Warranty as well. This gives you full coverage and the peace of mind that if something goes wrong, you are covered. We see a huge demand for both. The greatest part, these warranties are honored at any Ford dealer in the nation.

So this article is BS then. You are really getting a stage 1 for 39,999.

We Talked to the Ohio Ford Dealer Selling 727 HP Mustangs for $39,995

Lebanon Ford, in Lebanon, Ohio, wants to sell you a 727-horsepower Mustang GT with a Phase 2 Supercharger for exactly $39,995. Somehow, that price is full-delivered. The obvious question is: how the hell is that even possible? Well, there are three components to a custom car: the vehicle, the additional parts, and the labor to install the latter into the former. Because a brand-new Mustang GT costs no less than $32,395 and Roush lists a Phase 2 supercharger kit for $7,549.99, we called the sales department to see how they were doing the math.

Charlie Watson is the Roush parts manager and says the dealer's amazing $39,995 price for a 727-horsepower Mustang is part of a decision they made "to focus on establishing a nationwide base of enthusiasts (note: they'll ship anywhere) rather than making huge profits on each car." By squeezing numbers on each of the three aforementioned components—Mustang GT MSRP, Roush Phase 2 supercharger MSRP and labor—Lebanon Ford is able to get cars out the door for under $40k and still make a little money. However, most customers don't stop at the base price. Watson says many of the cars go for $45,000-$50,000, with a couple reaching as far as $60,000. Essentially, if a customer has a vision for a custom Mustang, the service team is happy to build it. That can mean performance and durability upgrades, like bigger brakes, stronger half-shafts, and custom wheels, or visual enhancements, like new paint, a full Roush bodykit, or two-tone leather interiors. So far, over two dozen of the ludicrously powerful Mustangs have been sold, and the dealer has both a good inventory of Mustang GT's on the lot and a back order on the supercharger packages from Roush.

Maybe it is stage 1 for 39,995 with warranty or stage 2 for 39,995 without warranty?

Yes this makes sense now. Stage 2 is about $1000. The warranty from Roush is about $1000. So you get your choice. 670 at the crank with warranty or 727 at the crank no warranty.

yup. there you go, you got it now! :p

but both still have warranty you just lose the power-train warranty with phase 2.

me personally would prob get phase 1 and wait till the car hasn't broken itself under warranty then down the road upgrade to phase 2.

That's is what I am doing. I am still on the 627 original kit. I talked to my dealer about the free 670 upgrade and they never heard of it. He also goes we tried to flash a Roush tune here once and turned the CPU into a brick. Maybe they figured it out by now.

Send it directly to Roush. Go to the F/I thread and look for Kyle at Roush, or call them. You can overnight ship free.

Seems like a great deal. The only con I see is that when you check out the FI section, Roush does not seem to be the SC of choice for some reason.

because whipple is more power but you cannot finance a whipple into the purchase either.

Holy mackerel that is a sweet deal. Surprised they're selling bases fully installed for sub $40k.
Roughly $41K before Ford rebates. You can get a base GT for 30-31K, so they are definitely making a profit. The appeal is pay full price for a GT but add in the blower cost into the loan.

Anybody's guess as to what this would run in the 1/4 on base GT tires?

With no suspension upgrades for traction, get a running tap at your proffered tire shop. I speak from experience. Lol
