My last car was vandalized at the train station. Somebody punctured a hole in my hood and dented my rear fender putting a big dent in it.

I've seen mom's drag those bags down the side of others peoples cars, metal buckles and all, completely oblivious to anything besides what's on IG.

Not saying that is the case OP, but just something to watch out for once you get new paint.

Where were you parked? Busy lot? Do you go there a lot?

The only other theory I had for my situation was either random vandalism (my car was parked "obnoxiously" away from everyone else in a huge lot, ironically making it stand out lol!), or somebody didn't like the way I drove on my commute to the train station and finally had enough.

I'm still sorry this happened to you though. There are great body shops out there that can make it like it never happened, even if you have metallic paint. It just would suck if you actually did have an enemy and they did it again, but I wouldn't want to make you as paranoid as me lol.

Lots of things trigger petty people.
You could have done something and not even realized it. Taking a parking spot someone thought they deserved, stopped too close behind someone, didn't move fast enough at a light, someone thought you parked too close, the list of pettiness is endless.
I do think the "no men left" comment was uncalled for as crazy/vindictive has no gender correlation but I understand you were angry...
