Is it safe to say that this kit will pass emissions?
We have those strict emissions laws in MA.

The only I guess gripe would be the slightly lower mpg cruising around. And it's not that bad, maybe 2mpg city/highway. That and I wish I had that signature KB whine under WOT. But I'll have that when I start changing pullies. The car drives around just as nice as stock, but I think better. Just because I now have much better useable power in the lower rpms. Something the coyote was lacking over my old pushrod mustang
Thanks for the feedback. Yea, I'm not worried the least about gas mileage. I just don't like bucking, surging, and throttle hanging in a daily driver.

Your car is amazing. I've ALWAYS wanted a KB.

Thanks man! Pull the trigger! I'm very glad I did. With the kit I had I was expecting something to be off with how large the Throttle Body was, the inlet on these are just insane. Seriously. But you wouldn't believe how nice it drives just cruising around. You wouldn't know it was supercharged unless you gave it more than 1/4 throttle, or popped the hood. I mean, there is a slight whistle that can be heard at idle, but if you dont know what you're looking for you might not think anything of it.

I'll try and get track times when I get my supporting mods done, but for now it's going to be a very enjoyable street car. If you have any other questions i'll try and answer them for you, if not Travis is super knowledgeable and can help you out.
But 700whp on plain jane 93 octane? I'm stoked :)

Technically no it would not. If the calibration is not coming from KB then it would not be legal. A non sc supplier tune may have different cold start and other emission related portions of the calibration. But many states are using a visual and monitor test which it would more than likely pass, but that doesn't make it legal. But having long tubes would not be legal in any state that had a visual inspection. But to pass it would need an EO decal for the visual which a kit with separate tuning normally would not come with.

All the New England states are "green" states which follow CARB standards.

Usually the smaller you go diameter wise for the wheel the better because you'll have more sidewall on the tire of course on a PP mustang I think the smallest you can go is 17

Our kit does not include long tubes. The calibration from Ken has made 670whp on 93 octane, which is 50 state legal. There are those running the standard 50 state legal tune, and those who elect to tune through Lund. Just like folks running Whipple, TVS, etc.

Correct but this customer had a Lund tune and long tubes, which Stage3 asked about. Therefore a custom tuned Mustang is not legal in a green state.

Awesome numbers, man! What an age we live in: slap a Whipple 2.9L or Kenne Bell 3.2L supercharger on your Mustang GT and you've got a beast making 700 horsepower to the rear wheels! It's staggering!

Darren,...if it's consolation, I have a Roush TVS on my '13 Roush Stage 3 and never had any hiccups/surging or throttle hanging at all. Then again, it's not my daily, but never any issues.
