Hey guys, this link is for an OILED filter replacement.

Features:
• Pro 5R Factory-Oiled Media for Maximum Performance

Thanks!
We STRONGLY recommend against using any oiled filters in your cars. The oil will only coat the MAF sensor and intake and allow dirt and various other types of media to cling to the interior of the intake manifold causing damage later on. We recommend a dry replacement filter at the very least. Really you want to include a better flowing intake tube as well, we even offer a version featuring a performance cutout.

Does AFE offer a DRY OEM filter replacement? I haven't found it on their website yet.

Thanks!
Click the arrow, it's there.

From reading around when I had my 2011 GT, the K&N drop in filter actually HURT performance with a just a stock tune if I remember correctly. I ran one with E85 and a tune on that car and ran a 12.2@114. On my S550 I have a tune, the K&N drop in and the Airaid CAI tube, and I gutted all the cloth/garbage/fins in the upper and lower stock air boxes that are suppose to quiet down airflow (slow it down) as well as cutoff that funky box thing that is on the top of the inlet tube right behind the radiator that feeds the air box and sealed that up too. I'm sure there are better CAI set ups that will flow more air, but they cost $400+ new and $275-$300+ used. I have $170 and a dremel cutting wheel into mine.
I'm waiting for the duct to finally be able to be ordered and I'm going to cut off that mushroom shaped helmholtz resonator and seal it and replace the stock one on my stock air box. That way if I screw it up I will have the original. Just waiting for Ford to finally stock that part its about $42 or so. Looks like you took it a step farther. I suppose if someone would sell me their stock air box on the cheap I'd do the same thing and gut it. I'll keep my eye out for one.

Ya I cut it off and then cutout a piece (from the part I just cut off) that would cover the exposed hole and then sealed it shut with hot glue and its a nice air tight seal there. You cant really screw it up, its just time consuming is all.

One of the reasons I just want to order the part and I can do it at my own pace and not have any "down time" for driving. :)

Do you have a link for this intake tube? I couldn't find it on your website, unless it was part a CAI.

Any pics of your set up?
